Stayed for 4 nights. Very clean. Serves a very nice breakfast with more than enough choices and local dairy produce. 7 min. walk to the train station. Central location in between Chur and Zurich but less expensive than Wadenswil.

Nice hotel with sauna in centre of Einsiedeln

Greatly located hotel in the centre of Einsiedeln, just few steps away from the abbey. Having the chance to rest in a sauna in the evening was a true gem. Room as such was small but cosy, though without any view and window was opening into an alley with some kitchen exhausts that were fairly noisy. It was also funny to find out that the floor in some area was a little inclined. Next door's coffee roastery was a great bonus!

It's pretty good

This hotel is uphill from the station, but manageable even with a suitcase. It is a few steps from a fabulous bakery and cafe and 20 metres to the Monastery. There are also a few restaurants close by. Perfect location. Rooms are small but good enough. The "air conditioning" is heating not cooling! There is a luggage storage room if you get here earlier than check in time. Staff are very obliging.

Hotel is very basic, it would be great if it can supply a kettle so we can make tea or coffee of our own. Buying coffee is expensive and it's all machine made not authentic coffee. Parking in Switzerland is a big problem, basically every where you park will have to pay and hotel does not supply parking.

Grest price great breakfast. However a few things missing from the room 1. Luggage rack to place your suitcase on to unload clothes, etc. Without it, we had to put our suitcase on the floor which is inconvenient. 2. Shower bar. The shower was nice but slippery. There is no 'grab bar' to hold on to when entering or exiting the tub/shower. This is not safe! 3. Windows should be triple paned on the street side to block out sound. We could hear EVERYTHING from the street and church. Very noisy. 4. We needed to supply our own toiletries. The only bath soaps were hand soap and shower gel (i.e. no shampoo, body lotion, etc). 5. There are no small night lights so when you get up at night, you have to turn on the main lights. 6. It would be nice to have bottled water in the room. 7. Lastly, please check the toilet seal/wax ring for leaks. We definitely smelled drain fumes in the bathroom.

Wir hatten zu dritt (2 Erwachsene + 1 Achtjährigen) ein Superior Doppelzimmer mit zusätzlichem Schlafsofa. Das Zimmer war geräumig genug, sauber und es war makellos. Die Ausstattung war einfach. Minibar oder eine kleine Kaffee-/ Tee-Maschine etc. gab es nicht auf dem Zimmer. Der Saunabereich war dagegen für so ein kleines Hotel sehr ansprechend. Eine Finnische Sauna, ein Dampfbad, Duschen+WC und einen Ruhebereich. Einen Pool gab es nicht. Alles wieder sauber und gepflegt. Mit einer 30 Minuten Voranmeldung wurde alles hergerichtet und wir konnten die Sauna für uns alleine nutzen. Große Handtücher und Trinkwasser waren vor Ort. Am besten hat uns das Frühstücksbuffet gefallen. Sehr fein hergerichtet und mit leckeren und ausschließlich regionalen Produkten. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten schöne Tage in Einsiedeln.
