Highly recommended! Our room was clean and a really great size. The staff was beyond kind, in which we felt like family. Breakfast is included, and all of our meals were delicious. The restaurant usually changes the menu daily for dinner which was a nice surprised.

Took my Family of 6 with 2 kids and my 2 in laws and we had an amazing time. I have been to numerous 5 star resorts but what sets Nanuku aside from everywhere else is the people that work there. Not only were the staff attentive to our every wishes but they all had the biggest hearts going the extra mile in everything they did from our House Mom to the General Manager! The kids club is a game changer for people bringing their little kids and from the moment they gave us a Warriors welcome to singing their farewell sendoff one of the best places I have ever been to and want to come back with more of our friends and Family!

Gorgeous resort in a beautiful location, great food, good drinks, fantastic staff, a real luxurious experience. With that being said, this resort is the most remote on the island and is almost a 3 hour car ride from Nadi. Because of this, we didn't get the opportunity to see Fiji because the closet city area is an hour plus away. Without a rental car or an expensive car service ($500 USD to and from the airport), you are stuck at the resort.

A true 5 star resort experience! Nanuku itself was perfect. The location is very remote without much variation available for dining or activities. A car is an absolute must. I’d definitely recommend and return.

Not only will you be greeted by the beautiful landscape and temperate weather, but the staff at this resort is second to none. Every single staff member is kind and welcoming. Wendy at the front desk is the sweetest! Pate, Tommy, Sisilia from events were fun and friendly. Nina & Vika — from the restaurant were helpful and attentive. To top it off, the menu at the resort is fantastic. You will not find a bad meal here! The head chef is a master at work and helps accommodate any dietary needs. I would visit here again and again. For those hesitant on the price it is 100% worth it. There are complimentary activities like snorkeling, Kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating. Along with a detailed list of things to do for everyone. The team also helps promote their coral reefs in the ocean and are sustainable in practice with room essentials. 10/10 experience here!

8/10 Very good

Nanuku was a beautiful resort. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their amenities and activities were very nice and enjoyable. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the food. My husband and I did not particularly like any of the food we had eaten. Everything had the same overall taste.. not sure if they use the same seasoning in each dish.. but the food we had in Fiji in a different resort the previous week was by far better with no comparison. I would say Nanuku’s kitchen cooking crew needs to be completely updated. Their menu items have potential, but the actual food flavor is memorably not satisfactory. Waitresses were very kind.

The resort itself is beaytiful! It is small enough to walk around or use the bicycles provided for free, but it feels like you have place to yourself as well, the way it is laid out. We stayed in an Ocean View Villa and felt like we were the only people there. The Villa was spectacular and neatly maintained by staff and housekeeping. There was a little problem with the number of ants in the Villa that were in the kitchen and bedroom areas. Additionally, we did have a rodent enter the room that had chewed a hole in the ceiling where the beam meets the wall. But staff were very quick to respond and seal the hole. But overalll, the Villa experience was wonderful as far as comfort and amenities. My wife has food allergies and the kitchen and wait staff were very considerate when taking her order and cooking the meals. The chef came out almost every meal to check what she wanted and made special meals for her that were not on the regular meny. They made an extraordinary effort to please her. The grounds and pool and beach areas were very clean and beautiful to look at. We will definitely stay there again when we return.

8/10 Very good

Very good , extremely expensive

We (2a 1 toddler) ended up having a wonderful time here and we would definitely consider going back. Staff were mostly excellent (Louise, Pita, Watson, Tina, Jay, Berny to name a few), though some communication and clarity was amiss. Food and activities are VERY expensive (we are from New Zealand so dollar to dollar is almost the same): Did a (wonderful...but not sure how the price is quite justified) longboat trip to a waterfall...$700, very average curry $90. The kids club and nanny service (included) was amazing and filled with little surprises. There weren't many dietary options for GF / Coeliac and breakfast was ordinary. Room very well appointed, spa pool was HOT (great!), right on the beach was really nice. Property is very well maintained and clean.

2/10 Poor

Deeply disappointing stay. We had high hopes, but the experience was far below any reasonable expectation. Our room was in terrible condition — the sink was clogged and eventually detached completely, the bathtub was broken, the door lock barely worked (took multiple tries to get in), and the floor was never cleaned once. When we reported this, we were told the sand was “falling from the ceiling.” We even saw a rat in our room — twice — and were told it was “just a lizard.” Unbelievable. The food was repetitive, tasteless, and made both of us sick. I got food poisoning from a salad two days before we left. There was an extra charge for basic things like room service, and a Coke cost $4.50. Air conditioning and the mosquito repellent device were turned off without warning, and no fumigator was provided — we had to go buy one ourselves. The resort itself feels neglected and outdated. Bicycles, snorkeling gear, life jackets, boats — everything looked old and barely functioning. Wi-Fi kept dropping, there were no evening activities, and even the childcare staff seemed indifferent and unengaged. A staff member at reception responded “just it?” when we listed serious room issues. That kind of attitude says it all. This was not a budget hotel, and yet the experience was worse than any low-cost stay we’ve ever had. It felt like no one cared — about the guests, the quality, or the basic standards of hospitality. We couldn’t wait to leave. Absolutely would not return or recommend.
