Well-equipped room

The washing and dryer machines inside the room are plus. The kitchen facility is all right. However, the bed may not be good for sleep. Before lodging in this hotel, you have to prepare the food,and drinks. There is no convenient store nearby. You have to drive around 15 mins to reach the neighboring small town,

酒店最大的有点就是离普纳鲁吾黑沙滩非常近，大概一两百米距离，开车就1分钟。如果想在普纳鲁吾黑沙海滩呆久一点，这间酒店绝对是首选。我们早晚各去了一次黑沙滩，孩子特别高兴。 联排别墅，一栋2户，每栋房子前面就是停车位，停车位非常充足，自驾车辆可以直接停在门口。每户一房一厅，跃式布局，客厅很大，带厨房，双开门冰箱，超市买的饮料牛奶冰淇淋什么都可以放进去保存。卫生间有洗衣机和烘干机，但是热水出水比较小。 卧室挺干净，床很软，睡起来很舒服。虽然我们住的这栋靠近路边，但由于酒店位置比较偏僻，晚上基本上没什么车辆通过，所以也没什么噪音。 要说缺点嘛，就是没有空调，只有吊扇，睡觉时需要打开百叶窗透气。刚入睡略微觉得有些热，到下半夜就很凉快了。 不知道为什么这家酒店在hotels里评分这么低，当时预订的时候也是犹豫了半天，入住以后还是蛮庆幸自己的选择。

Clean and comfortable rooms- not luxury but the whole place is very well maintained. Loved the full size Murphy bed which is way more comfortable than a fold out couch. Note the website says it is a Twin. It is next to a defunct golf course. Personally I greatly prefer the more natural look of the long waving grass and palm trees. Very quiet and secluded, bring your dinner with you. Phenomenal hot tub with view of the ocean.

We booked two studios. One had a nice ocean view, the other (mine) not so much. We had to wait for both rooms for quite a while, one room (mine) much longer wait than the other. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. There are stairs to access the living areas. The setting is gorgeous and grounds well maintained. The unit was nicely furnished, bed was comfortable, and kitchen adequate. How convenient to have washer/dryer unit in room. We’re glad the temps were cool enough that we didn’t have to pay to run the A/C. We sat out at the small pool and enjoyed our time out there. The black sand beach is very close - I wouldn’t quite consider it as “beach access” as described. It is just a little drive down the road. As explained, be aware this location is rather remote (only very small shopping options and few restaurants within 10-20 minutes). For us, that was fine. For our other party, they found the remoteness a negative. We enjoyed the restaurant in Na‘ālehu very much (10 min west). They have a limited menu but very fresh, local catch seafood. There’s no real grocery nearby. But the proximity to Volcanoes National Park is great, especially if you’re lucky enough (like we were) to be there on an eruption day. It is about a 35 minute drive east to the park entrance. You know, everything is a trade off. You can’t be close to conveniences AND be close to an erupting volcano. Overall, we loved it and would choose Sea Mountain again next time.

My wife and I loved this spot. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the unit was very clean and well maintained. The view of the Ocean was excellent and the grounds were beautiful as well! This place is a great place to get away from the busyness of Kona and Hilo. I very rarely write reviews but this place impressed me!

Such a beautiful property. We had an ocean view. Very clean and comfortable unit. Lovely patio and beautiful surroundings. We didn’t need the air conditioning (extra cost) with the fan and the ocean breeze we were completely comfortable sleeping. We hope to return someday for a longer visit.

Spacious and Quiet!

Fantastic place with Ocean views, walk to the beach, gorgeous pool and hot tub. Staff is friendly and informative. This is our second time staying, it’s so quiet and spacious!
