Wonderful & relaxing break.

The hotel is full of character with beautiful gardens, lovely views of surrounding countryside and a spectacular mountain view from certain vantage points. Reception staff were very friendly & welcoming, as were all the hotel staff, making us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Both indoor & outdoor pools were clean and well maintained and the standard of cleanliness was very high throughout the hotel. We all really enjoyed the spa facilities, slept well in comfortable beds and would definitely recommend this hotel for a leisurely break.

Only two drawbacks; Hotel had switched to heating and the entire 6 nights we stayed were very warm. we slept with windows open, but got some flies in the room and it was very long to cool down the room that reached 25 degrees while we were out during the day. also, the snacking menu is very limited.
