A wonderful estate in the countryside near figures. Neara river and a small waterfall. A blend of modern refinement and old charm. Child friendly (there is a playground by the restaurant). Helpful staff. We loved our stay.

Everything was great. Really near the gate to the old town and lovely staff. Wish that they could put a phone or plug socket near the bed. Other than that minor irritation, we enjoyed our stay. The terrace was a lovely place to relax in the sun.

We arrived in Carcassonne on a beautiful sunny day, the hotel is beautiful, and perfectly located just a very short walk from the city walls. We checked in and Stefan was wonderful, we had issues with our car, he rang a local garage and even got us booked in. Our room was stunning with extremely comfortable bed - we had a room with the hot tub, which was perfect temperature, we ended up staying an extra night while the car was being fixed, which gave us the opportunity to explore the old town further, there is an excellent selection of restaurants and tapas available. There is also a secure car park at the rear of the hotel We would highly recommend Pont Levis Hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we felt truly welcome and Stefan was so kind and really made our stay awesome. Everyone speaks good English which was helpful as our French isn’t great! If you need a garage we recommend ets Baruteau in Carcassonne

Gorgeous hotel, exceptional location by the medieval city walls. The air con smelled amazing and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. We also enjoyed how fluffy the bath robes were. We were also fortunate to be offered our room early upon arrival, when we were prepared to leave our luggage to return later. I would give 4 out of 5 stars for a few reasons. Firstly, the check out time on hotels.com was 12pm, and this was a contributing factor to choosing this hotel. The cleaner knocked on the door at 11.30am and was frustrated that we had not yet checked out, saying it should have been 11am, so we rushed to leave at this point. Fortunately the reception staff was kind about it, but I showed them my hotels.com confirmation and they didn't seem to care about the discrepancy. Secondly, the hot tub didn't retain its heat after one short use so we only used it once during our stay. The outdoor area of our room, where the hot tub was situated, didn't match the level of glamour from the inside of the room. Lastly, the exterior of the hotel felt cramped and basic including the pool area. Photos online gave me the impression there were manicured grounds with views of the castle walls, but all I could see was a view of a cemetery. Lovely hotel I just felt the price was a little high for the amenities.
