Oooff dirty dirty!

The floor was so dirty you could taste it!! Earlier check in was an extra $20 bucks! For what?! I had to mop the floor in the room. The furniture was broken and so outdated I thought it was 1986! All was missing was a Rubix Cube with missing colors! We left the next morning. It looked more like a homeless shelter for adults and pets. I can see why they were pet friendly… okay.

Great rate for close proximity to the Beach! Quiet room with comfy pillows on the bed. Some wear & tear on the room but it didn't bother me!

We would not stay here again.

First of all, they gave us the wrong room. We reserved a room with a kitchenette, and this room didn’t have one. The photos online do not match the room. After we complained, they refunded some of the money. The floors were wood laminate, and they were filthy. I took a wet washcloth and wiped the floor down completely. I rinsed it out and wiped the floor again and it was still filthy. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Maybe in another part of the motel it works, but not in our room. They did hold our luggage for us because we arrived in the morning and check in time is 3 PM. They offered to give us a room earlier, for extra money. It is only about a block from the beach. We would not stay here again.

They were able to find us more pillows.

Roaches

The room appears to be clean at first but about 30 minutes after check in I had to kill a German roach, then we saw something under the table moving and it turned out to be a big roach , we went out to eat came back and killed another roach in the bathroom. So there was clearly a roach problem.

stay somewhere else, you do get what you pay for

i did call before we went down that we would be checking in late around 10 ish, they said no problem and would look for a first floor to make it easier. unfortunately due to our flight delay we had to check in really late. the room they gave us was on the second floor ok, then when we went up it was not cleaned the bed was unmade and clothes in the closet???? we went back to tell them and she did not speak english so had no idea what we were asking. she used her phone to translate which worked a bit. once she understood we needed another room they were going to charge us around $5 to change rooms!! what??? they gave us a dirty room. they asked if we wanted a refund huh? where were we supposed to sleep. they finally gave us another room which was ok but the floor was gross which made me rethink the overall cleanliness.

The good with the bad

Beds were clean, showers were warm and staff was friendly. Floors were dirty and don’t get cleaned between users. Pool was clean and warm. Short walk to the beach. It’s not a great hotel but it’s still worth an affordable stay by the beach. Use one of their towels to clean the floors and it’s ok.

HORRIBLE/DANGEROUS

This stay was horrifying. I got sick from mold exposure. Seeing my doctor today. My lungs hurt and I couldn’t stop sneezing. Couldn’t check in until 5p due to my room not being ready after I was told it would be ready early. I wanted 4 hours. I waited 24 hours for clean towels after asking 5 different members of staff. I was told by house keeping that they don’t deliver towels to rooms and there were none available. When I returned to the front desk she told me she would go take care of it then but it was the next day before I could get clean towels which was only because I had to asked for them again. The room smelled like mildew, the curtains were ripped from the windows, a bubbly ceiling that was filled with water ready to leak, the door was not sealed and let in cigarette smoke from the extended stay neighbor that chain smoked outside my door. They were also talking about having sex with homeless people. I had my teenage daughter with me. The staff was friendly but completely unorganized and non-responsive. I was told that I needed to give a 5 star review before they could give me laundry soap. I ended up washing my beach towels so I could have something to dry off with after my showers.
