Very good location, the only inconvenient we had was the AC which is not working properly for that specific room which has a second floor with a bunk bed and the Ac doesn’t reach that space very well and there were more than 90f outside.

You get what you pay for, the price is great and i was able to book last minute. What isn't great is the room is tiny, my legs were pressing against the shower door while on the privy. The room was also infested with ants.

Very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

The positive: Great central location in the heart of Rome, one block from the Spanish Steps. Staff was pleasant. The negative: This “hotel” is basically a hostel…. We booked the large quadruple unit in May, 2022. Rome was HOT and although the listing claims there was air conditioning, they did not allow one to use the a/c - it was centrally controlled -because it was not yet summer!! Not even a fan! The unit was TINY and had no space to sit. Just one wooden chair in a corner by the window, which overlooked a Very Noisy street. We could not close the single small window due to the heat and could not stand the noise from the restaurant and street performers below. There was nowhere to store clothing. The beds were hard as a rock. The two single beds upstairs in the “loft” were more like roll aways then complete twin size beds. Very uncomfortable and narrow steps up to the loft. The bathroom was tiny and the shower is uncomfortably narrow. I would only recommend this spot is you want location and don’t care about comfort AT ALL. I will never return to this hotel.

Beware light sleepers and rude staff

I don’t recommend. You won’t get a good nights sleep. You can hear everything from the street and the glass bottles clacking early morning because they need to collect them as trash from the restaurants. You can hear everything outside of the room as well as the guest in the room next to you. I could hear them loud as if they were in my room.. I am a heavy sleeper and it still bothered me, be ware light sleepers! Staff was super rude. On hotels.com it said that check out was 23:00 when I booked the hotel and when I got the confirmation email it also said 23:00. On the day before check out I wanted to double check with staff when I needed to check out so I would be ready at that time. Instead of apologizing for wrong info I received they kept on scolding me that no hotel ever has check out at 23:00 and how would they get new guests if it’s 23:00 etc etc even though I showed them the email that I wasn’t making it up. All I did was double check with them so I’ll be ready at that time and it didn’t even bother me that I got the wrong info. Super unprofessional response from the staff.

Simples porém bem localizado.

Hotel? Não usaria esse termo mas, uma pensão! Foi essa minha definição. Limpo, porém antigo, banheiro pequeno e a água nunca regula adequadamente de repente tá boa a têmpera depois gela e depois esquenta demais rsrs meio aventura o banho. Fora isso possui um café da manhã padrão café, leite, chá, croissant, iogurte etc da pra tomar um bom café pra sair e não precisar gastar com café. Agora o ponto forte é sem dúvida alguma a localização!!! Bem no centro perto de tudo. Vc consegue ir para praticamente todos os pontos turísticos principais a pé, é no burburinho do centro. Mas, tb tem a estação de metrô spagna que é 3 mim e de metrô tudo é perto. Pelo custo e localização vale a pena da pra dormir bem. É coisa simples!! Se não tiver frescura fica numa boa. E sinceramente eu ficaria novamente pois vale pela localização. Esqueci de tirar foto do banheiro. O quarto que ficamos tinha uma cama de casal e uma de solteiro e ficava de frete o que não é bom pq ouvíamos o barulho da movimentação dos restaurantes quando estavam fechando e guardando as mesas e de manhã cedo quando abriam mas nada que atrapalhasse o sono.

Rent och lugnt mitt i centrum!

Små utrymmen men funktionellt och med ett fantastiskt läge (en tvärgata till Spanska Trappantorget) - det gjorde hotellet prisvärt. Hotellet är på 2a våningen, utan hiss men det är överkomligt, och vårat rum var mot en stängd bakgård vilket innebar att det var tyst och lugnt.

Very convenient location to the attractions with many restaurants right at the door. It's an old building, and you have to take stairs to the rooms. The staffs are very nice, and the rooms are very clean with towel change every 2 days. But the rooms are small with limited space for luggages. The breakfast is VERY simply, so don't expect much. No bottle waters, no coffee machine, no refrigerator, no microwave, etc.

Friendly little hotel near Spanish Steps

Hotel Panda is a budget hotel in a great location in Rome. It's not much more than a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain is just a little way from that. I actually walked everywhere in Rome from Hotel Panda, but you could easily use the metro, as I believe there is a station not far away. The staff member I met on my stay was incredibly friendly and that made for a nice welcome. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, if a little worn in places, and the bed was comfy (especially the pillows - where did they get those pillows?). The immediate area is nice enough, if a little noisy early in the morning, as all the businesses start their day. I understand you can get a voucher for a breakfast at a cafe next door to the hotel, but I never partook. It wasn't available until 8 and I was up and about by then (Rome is crowded and best to beat the crowds). The wi-fi was perfectly fine and the staff member I met let me have an adaptor for Italian plugs, which I hadn't realised were different from most European ones. Would use this hotel again, if I'm ever back in Rome.
