Rikki, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was fine, clean( although no housekeeping during our stay) easy to get around. We didn’t really see any staff during our stay, so cant comment on staff.
Louisa, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Look a cheap and cheerful motel close to the markets and the waterfront.
Tony, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The view that we had from the top floor was lovely, especially at night. It was close to town that we walked rather than drive and it’s really close to the Saturday market. There was plenty of eateries to choose from that were a short walk away. It was a great place to stay at to start off the holiday
James, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room was dirty dangerous no towel rails in the shower or bathroom no soap holders nowhere to put your toiletries no shelving. The bathroom was less than one star.
Ivan, 1-night trip

Sarah, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

No heater just a small space heater the room was freezing, no shower curtain, property said it included a car space and then was told two days before that it’s first come for the spaces so constantly had no space
Renee, 5-night trip

Experience Hobart - not for light sleepers

Good place to stay if you want to be near Salamanca and Hobart... The room had been renovated but half done... Quite a loud place to stay at
1-night trip

Sadly if you aren’t staying on the ground floor there are a lot of stairs to drag your suitcase us and down, hard if you are elderly

Bio hazard alert

I have to say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a bio-hazard waiting to happen. The filth was astounding. Even if a room is cheap it should be clean. Blood on wall tiles in bathroom, toothpaste over taps, smears of who knows what and hair over shower walls. Brown smears on side table and bed head, dirt and grime in floors. Window broken so didn't shut properly. Room was freezing and no electric blanket or additional blankets. Disgusting and would not ever recommend ! Have countless photos but they wouldn't upload
Kelli, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lack of car parking meant I had to park 100 metres away from the motel.
Darryn, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Extremely dusty. Put clothes in cupboard and came out full of dust. Duvet stained. Carpets threadbare. Good location close to Salamanca. Wouldnt stay again.
Diane, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

It is cheap to stay, don’t expect much, half the lights didn’t work, hole in ceiling patched with a plastic sheet and door rattles in the wind. You get what you pay for.
Mathew, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Bloody terrible accommodation. Mouldy, stained, unsafe/dangerous. In a very bad state of disrepair.
Doug, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

As my previous reply to your previous email this place needs a complete redo. I would recommend you remove it from your lists of properties.
Therese, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Location was good, walkable to dining areas and water front. Room was run down, carpet threadbare, tap loose in bathroom and tap handle fell off on the hot water tap in shower. Nail strip to hold carpet down was bare and was covered by using a towel. The sliding door to bathroom falls off if you pull it on an angle. No flywire on windows. Fridge had every shelf broken and had solid ice on the element. Luckily we didnt need to use it. Broken tiles in shower with no screen so water covered half the bathroom floor. Beds were comfortable and linen clean
Carolyn, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It is well placed and handy to local pubs, restaurants and shops with most places 5-10 minute walk. My room was well presented. The initial outside appearance was daunting however inside is a very different story. My only gripe is the entry doors to each unit/room could door with better door seals to prevent noise when doors are closing and the closer on front entry door, which is also the only after hours door, needs to be replaced/repaired as the door slams shut and echoes through the building.

4/10 Fair

Property generally run-down. Room and bathroom were dirty. Waste water from the bathroom above was leaking through my bathroom ceiling. When advised, staff seemed indifferent.
Andrew, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Heater was not powerful enough, it was the coldest night so far this year.
Stirling, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The facilities are in need of repair are upgrade, including faulty (scalding) shower taps and missing tiles. Disappointing.
