The room was not clean. After telling the front desk thr came to the toilet. But after being in the room saw how the sheets were not clean bins not emptyed dust everywhere. Restaurant service was terrible. The food i ordered was raw. Even after waiting 1 hour for the food. Overall very disappointing. I have stayed at the town lodge many times but this time was terrible

Creepy staff! Someone at the front desk asked another staff member to help me with my suitcases up the stairs - there are no lifts - and walking upstairs behind me, this man told me that I was really beautiful. This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. I didn't want to be there anymore and checked the room for cameras. Other issues I had was, 1) I had booked a room overlooking the pool, my room overlooked the parking lot and a busy road; 2) the pool is only accessible via the dining room next to the lobby so there's no privacy; 3) the rooms aren't very soundproof and I could hear everything happening in the corridors including my neighbours yelling at each other while leaving the hotel at 3am in the morning. I'm glad I had only booked for one night otherwise I would've changed hotels.

Location is not as indicated on Hotels.com, it is actually several kms down closer to Menlyn. Booked a Double Smoking, was given 2 singles non smoking. Air conditioning only works when there is no load shedding, so pretoria heat + small rooms = comfort Apparently rooms are currently also being painted, but they have not marketed these rooms as "unavailable", and they did not attempt to even move the bed to give me what I booked. A/C does not work all night due to load shedding. If i had have known 1) location wasnt where i wanted and 2) the bed set up also was not what i wanted i would have chosen somewhere else to stay and 3) heat in room made it uncomfortable. I got up at 2am and considered just driving home as it was so unpleasant. so not happy with the booking at all.

Our reservation was done, payment was made and when we got to the Lodge we were notified they are NOT OPEN AS YET. We demanded that that refund us which they undertook to do immediately and the money does not reflect in our account yet. We will take further leagl action against the group.

Town Lodge.

Very pleasant hotel I was surprised friendly staff. Comfortable room. Lovely pool. Only disappointment was no restaurant and you go to Dros next door food there disappointing. I will definitely stay again.
