Good Hotel

10/10 Exceptional

Great spot. Centrally located in town and within walking distance to multiple restaurants, bars and shopping district.

8/10 Very good

Was what you would expect from an older no frills motel in town during racing season. Clean and convenient.

The location was nice. There was no hand soap and we were only provided one roll of toilet paper.

Billy was totally accommodating he even gave me a lift to the race track!!!! Awesome

For the price - this was an excellent bargain. The water was hot and the room was clean. The air conditioner worked, there was no noise at night, we were able to bring our dog and walk into town. The young woman who checked us in was kind and friendly; a real rockstar considering some customers were rude.

The Motel is very convenient. Parking is good. The room AC worked well so the room was comfortable. However, the TV wouldn't turn on. I'm always looking for local weather so, that was disappointing.

Talk about cut backs… No one in the office day and night. The key to my room was in an envelope tape to the door. Never seen or heard of such thing in my 30 years of traveling.
Alexander, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

There was no WIFI, no TV, no garbage can in the room. The pool was filed in with dirt. Other people staying there wanted their money back and go stay somewhere else, but they were told they could not get it back.

1st room lights didnt work. 2nd room no hot water and sink was just a trickle. Purely ownership lack of upkeep. Room was clean and gentleman at front desk was very nice and helped best he could despite his lack of support. Clean bed and ac worked, location all it has going for it
Peter, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

There was no working tv no wifi. Did not have hot water. Drain leaked. Sheets has hairs on them. There wasn’t a mini refrigerator or microwave for late night after concert to have . The Stewarts closed early.
MEGHAN, 1-night trip

For the price paid. Was unable to wach the TV. No garbage cans in room to throw garbage out. Charis were stained..No hand soap or any kind of soaps available..Will more than likely pick another place to stay inte future.

You should not rent this place..was filthy..no soap to was with.no towels..floor was filthy dust all over everything..people in the next room were drunk and yelled and fought all night..we slept with our clothes on for fear of or skin touching anything..was not worth the money we paid..in fact you couldn't pay me enough to stay there again... would like a partial or full refund..!!

It was very hard to get in touch with the hotel. I would leave a message and they would take hours to get back to me. Also I tried to cancel hotel a month in advance and they wouldn’t let me cancel the room
Kevin, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Office was never open. Sign on door said come back at 3 for checkin. Sign: no Wi-Fi. Pool filled in with stones. Later, the key was taped to the office door with our name. Room smelled musty, tv didn’t work, light in bathroom was only heat lamp. Switch didn’t work. Terrible motel management.
Mark, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

If you want bare minimum this is your place. The girl in the office was nice, however the room did not have soap, a hairdryer or a garbage can. There was a towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door probably from a previous guest. The floors were nasty. Also the cable was out so no TV & the AC stopped working overnight. The walls are paper thin so I could clearly hear guests in the room next to mine & also guest above.

6/10 Good

I have stayed at the Springs a couple of times over the years for it’s easy access to a walk to spac for concerts. After booking via Expedia with a no cancellation policy I was stressing after reading the super negative reviews. Had this place gone to hell after Covid ?All other hotels were price gouging do to the races for 700 a night. Look its a 2 star motel, don’t expect much. It’s a place to sleep, the room was clean, the shower pressure and temp were all good. The staff was nice. And there is a covered porch to post up on and have a cocktail or 2 . Most of these super negative reviews are probably just your classic “kathy’s” thinking they are staying at the Ritz . Also Sue’s no bull responses to these people had me cracking up . Till next time Springs

Look for another option

I checked in and got ready to attend a show at SPAC. Room was a tad warm but it is summer so I turned up the AC- needed a minute as the icons were worn off. Looked at the two beds and decided I’d use the one without the sinkhole. I then noticed a dirty wash cloth on my choice- oh well I just needed to room for a few hours. After the show I went back to my room opened a beer and turned on the TV. The TV had no service- 2022 and like the lodge the TV also had no service
1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The person that checked us in did as best as she could...there is no tv...no wifi...not enough towels and soap/shampoo...one roll of toliet paper for 4 days...a lot of noise late at night on top of the building...rocks fill in the pool...etc etc...once again the lady helping us was only there from 3 to 5...this motel should not be open...it was like camping...a random man approached our car when we got there...he said dont stay there...the convenient store workers across the street shared the same sentiments...hear about it every weekend... You cant post this place...have people put money down...and cant get out of it...there are only workers there like 2 hours a day...bizzare...but we still had a great trip...be in saratoga and not on their property...
Brendan, 3-night trip

There was a tv but no service. The message on the tv said upgrade in progress, but that was for the 2 days I was there. Nobody at the office when I arrived, so when I came back later that evening, somebody was sitting outside with my key in an envelope. Strange set up!!!

Worst stay imanigable.

Worst stay we could imagine. No TV for three days. No management on property called phone number on office door both nights said someone would come to room we waited over an hour nobody came called again no answer. Spoke to manager in morning they would take care of it. Called again that evening sending someone to take care of TV. Again no show. Checked out dropped keys in mailbox. Nobody available to complain to about issue. Stayed at this motel every year for 6 years. NEVER AGAIN. Also bring your own towels.

Great Stay!

It was amazing, the guy at the office was super nice. The only problem was the room smelled like cigarette smell at first.
