This hotel is immaculate and well located. The important reason to take off a star is because there is no hoy water for the shower. The first day I showered almost entirely with cold (not lukewarm, freezing cold) water, by the end it got warm. Today I let it run and when it got warm I jumped in, only to stop when I was shampooing my hair. The rest of the shower: frozen water. My roommate had the exact same experience. When I went to reception to let them know, the front desk lady and told I should’ve notified it (I was doing it in that moment, hair still dripping from the cold shower). We also couldn’t use the safe box because the directions are for opening but not programming. I got the directions online from the manufacturer page to program it but the model of the safe was missing the #* keys, the safe kept beeping and blinking yellow when we tried to program it. The lady at the front desk said we were supposed to figure it out because they are not allowed, she reset it twice but it never worked out. Would we stay again? Probably not, because of the cold shower.

Exceptionally nice hotel and staff for the price. Not a short walk to the Jardín de la Unión (central plaza), but the walk does take you past the best street food in Guanajuato, and the Mercado Hidalgo.

Keep in mind there is no air conditioning and if windows are open there is noise from the busy street. We thought there was parking on site as advertised but it’s 3-4 blocks away. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. For the price the stay was fine.

NO PARKING AVAILABLE!!!

It is a cute hotel and the service was friendly. The room and cleanliness was acceptable. The only issue I had was the listing says there is parking available. This is incorrect, and the clerk only recommended the closes spot to park which was full. I couldn't find any overnight parking garages, so I had to pay a ticket the next morning for parking over the one hour limit for street parking :(
