What a surprisingly special stay!

We selected the hotel as it was near to where we would be working, but it was an unexpected surprise as we absolutely loved it. The location, room, food and service were all fab, and would highly recommend it. We can't wait to come back again!

It’s just really hard to understand how this hotel received a 5-star warning…it just feels misleading.

John, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This is not a 5 star hotel as advertised, 4 star at best. Hotel looks tired. Staff friendly and room decent size but lacked quality I would expect from 5 star hotel. Notes everywhere about no smoking and had to sign a disclaimer! Only provide 2 bottles of the room and yet another note to say any others would be chargeable. This is not a hotel I would recommend and I wouldn’t stay again.

It is a nice property in Battersea area with Thames River promenade. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Rooms are well maintained and clean. The stay was lovely. So if Battersea is the area you want to stay in, there is no better Hotel.

Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stayed a few times before. Really helpful location just south of the river (easy uber ride from central london). Bar is great - right on the river front. And lots of fun watching fhe helicopters land (my room faced fhe heli pad and was NOT loud at all). Room was absolutely fine, check in easy, staff friendly. Would definitely stay again
Dafydd, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was massive, bed and pillows comfortable and very quiet no outside or corridor noise. The air-conditioner however was quite noisy.
Linda, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Disappointed

Nothing like the pictures definitely not 5 star more 3 very dated and cluttered if it was refurbished could be nice does state thst your next to where helicopters land so if you think you can get a relaxing lay in or early night your mistaken. Also there was nlood all up the blinds definitely off putting
1-night trip

6/10 Good

Bathroom air conditucodnt be turned off so kept us awake even with door closed and earplugs Propert 3 star at best and poor from access to local transportation
Robert, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Fine

Hotel was nice, not ideal location if wanting to explore London as a tourist. Only stayed one night and just used hotel as somewhere to sleep so did not make use of facilities like spa or hotel food. Overall had good experience, only problem was some minor issues in room like not all tv channels working and was not able to turn down room temperature with electric monitor which made for a slightly uncomfortable nights sleep.
Emma, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Treated family members to a stay at the hotel for 3 nights and had to pay a deposit on arrival of 50GBP for them, which would be refunded on my card. I never received it back. My family members thought the stay was so so. The decor is dated, with plastic banners put up. It all was very disappointed. During the last night there was a technical issue setting off tvs in the room, causing a lot of noise around midnight. Someone came to look at it and brought in another guy to try and find the source and silence it. It then happened again around 3am. Same story again, however this time the 2 said staff members were fighting in the corridor basically making it impossible for my family to rest. Upon check out, my brother complained at reception about the incident and was given compensation for the night. At no point was mentioned that the deposit was included in the compensation given back to the guests and not to me as the cardholder. I spoke to the hotel, as I am the card holder for the booking and the deposit, but am not being given my deposit back.
