. Great location in Old Town - walkable to anything. . Very friendly and proactive staff - they all “act like owners”. . Immaculately maintained backyard patio/pool area is a great place to take breakfast or afternoon cocktails, both of which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. . Magical Marblehead

Small room but well appointed and cozy. Bedding was excellent. Our room opened right out into the garden which made us feel like we were staying in a lovely guest house on the property. Nice breakfast in the garden was lovely. We will stay there again. Staff and Owner were accommodating and friendly.

Great Marblehead Inn!

The Harbor Light Inn is lovely! The staff is very kind, present, and accommodating. Very clean, quiet, and those super smooth sheets, oooooo! I didn't know they had a pool. Wish I had. They recommended a great nearby restaurant, The Landing, which was awesome, on the water, within easy walking distance, and so scrumptious!

Restive retreat

Just overnight for a short stay. This hotel has a bnb vibe. It's a restored 1729 building with good-sized clean rooms. It's quirky, with narrow stairs to each floor (no elevators). There's a bar and a couple of public guest areas. it's in the middle of historic Marblehead, so everything's within a short walk. Staff was accommodating in finding places to eat and quickly fixing a heating issue. Wifi is a little slow

First, parking was convenient and safe. The room I selected was available for me before check in time. This worked out well since I had an early flight in. I really enjoy the Victorian style with old world charm. My room #28 was extremely cozy with the fireplace and just at the top of the stairs. The breakfast selection was great !!! All staff did an excellent job. But, Stacey was especially helpful thru out the entire process of my stay. I definitely will be booking again. Please keep me posted with special events.Thank you. Great location for exploring Marblehead. Views of the harbour were fabulous. We had great food in two restaurants within walking distance- The Landing and the Barnacle. Spending time in the hotel pool and garden was paradise. A very enjoyable stay.

Nice place but room way too small!

This is a very quaint hotel (there are only 2 'hotels' in Marblehead). The staff were very friendly & helpful, and the main floor (sitting room, dining room, little bar, outdoor greenspace with pool and firepit) was beautiful and spacious, so all good there. However, our room (room 31) was extremely small for two people and their belongings. There was nowhere to put anything! The small dresser was mostly taken up with a Keurig & telephone and the nightstands had lamps with large bases, so they took up most of the space. The bathroom was tiny, with only a 2" shelf above the sink to place anything on it. In addition, the air conditioning window unit was extremely loud; every time it kicked on during the night, it woke us up. This room for two nights was over $800. Another member of our group stayed at a great Airbnb which was quite spacious and had a full kitchen, for almost half the price of Harbor Light Inn. My advice would be to check around before booking lodging in Marblehead.
