Limited menu. I have a garlic/onion allergy, and could not eat anything on the m menu. Even the burger patties came pre-loaded with garlic.

Great view of the Taal. Good food and shopping very close. Casino and amusement park 15 minutes walk. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Tagatay is a very noisy city, so be prepared for that. We would stay there again. Robinson supermarket and a small mall with good food right next door.

Staff was amazing, but the room was not totally finished at all . we dont know if there is some renovation going on. upon checking the ceiling i think the housekeeping forgot to check it there are some scotch tape from the previous guest that you forgot to look into it, but the frontdesk was awesome.

Love our stay

We absolutely loved staying here, the view overlooking Taal was breathtaking, both at bedtime and upon waking. It would have been perfect if there were stools and a small table on the balcony to fully enjoy the scenery, but that’s a minor detail. The staff were exceptional… always welcoming us with a smile, thoughtful, respectful, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this place! Rooms on the 7th floor and above offer a clear, unobstructed view of Taal. We’ll definitely be back. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and we appreciated the mini fridge, microwave, and kettle. We even borrowed cutlery and small plates so we could celebrate my mum’s birthday with cake, such a nice touch! Oh and let me mention the Breakfast here- it’s worth the price. Delightful everyday with so much selection. It caters to both Filipinos & western taste. So close to great restaurants like BalayDako, RSM & the famous Starbucks overlooking Taal. The hotel itself has a passage to go to a smaller Starbucks & shopping mall beside it. So convenient. Loads of parking space. Highly recommend this place to family & friends

8/10 Very good

The entrance and lobby is immaculate. The elevators have a glass window to see the lake view on the way up, but the window was not clean. The staff are top notch. They were all very courteous and helpful. The concierge arranged for a personal tour guide for us, the restaurant staff was attentive to our needs and the massage therapist was excellent. There was a mention that the hotel was going through renovation so I assume the cleanliness issues will be addressed. I will give the hotel a 3.9 out of 5 stars based on my standards with a note saying I will be back for a visit soon to see how the renovations are coming along.

Poor customer service! The beddings are dirty, towels are very old, no enough tissues provided, there’s a kitchen but no utensils, the premises is not finish.
Jacqueline, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

All rooms have the view of Tall Volcano and across the street Rosario Restaurant is a convenient, a little pricey but it has the same view as this hotel. The hotel is next to a busy street, so it’s a little bit noisy. It was so windy when I was there and there balcony door are making some noise especially at night. I have to struggle opening my door until maintenance guy changed the door battery.

The property is in poor shape. The lobby looks nice but it stops there. I was on the 7th floor but can hear everything on the street. The wind and rain was coming in from the patio doors. The towel racks are rusted and the bathroom has a funky smell. The towels are so old they are gray instead of white. The air conditioning units on the lobby to the rooms are all rusting.

8/10 Very good

Everything was fine except the younger staff in the restaurant were playing to much instead of waiting on people...the shower foor in our room was falling off...i think room service should of noticed thst and had it fixed before letting out the room again. Pool was to cold to swim..thats why nobody uses it.

There were no towels in the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty, the shampoo contsiner was just tackily placed. It felt very unclesn.
Shirley, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The bathroom had a clogged drain so everytime we showered it would flood the whole bathroom. Had hotel staff take a look and adter they said they fixed it, it still was in same condition. Also called for room service when we ran out of toilet paper and they never came until several hours later after we personally re-requested at the front desk. This is a supposedly "4 star" hotel that is actually 3 stars or less in actuality.
Ronald, 5-night trip

2/10 Poor

Breakfast buffet was not so great. Food ran out and took a while to refill. Room is old, dark and not welcoming. Hard to open the door. All doors in the room are old and dirty. Bathroom towels were very thin and looked brownish gray as opposed to white towels. We were given 1/2 roll of toilet paper per day which usually ran out by the end of the day. The lobby was clean and nice but getting off the elevator to our floor looked like it was from another decade, very old and floors were worn down. The room needs updating for sure.
Lizette, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Terrible condition for a 4-star hotel. Supervisor/manager did not even look up from the front desk when I was telling them about the bad condition of the deluxe king room that I booked. His answer to the staff is to give an extension cord for the refrigerator which did not have an outlet. Walls had peeling paint, bathroom had moldy grout, towels had worn edges, bare toiletries, no desk chair. Overall poor customer service and not caring probably because of attitude of supervisor/higher ups. Not reflective of Philippine hospitality.

Had a wonderful stay at Summit Ridge! The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming! Check-in was smooth, and the front office team greeted us with genuine smiles. They provided helpful information about the hotel’s facilities and amenities. Since it was Holy Week, they also gave us recommendations on churches to visit around Tagaytay, which we really appreciated. The room was beautiful, and the view of Taal was the best I’ve ever seen—absolutely breathtaking! Check-out was quick and seamless. We will definitely be coming back!
