About 6 blocks down and go left on Pacific Highway Right on Ash Left on Harbor
If you’re walking it will take like 15-20 minutes. You walk through Waterfront Park at The City Administration Building.

The chocolat chip pancakes peanut butter in the morning were a real treat. Old fashioned almost wild west decor. Nice hangout lounge. Good wifi. Bathroom facilities minimal. The room was fine. Bathroom ok. Loud Loud Drinking game going on for hours starting at 5pm with lots of Loud Profanity. Impossible to sleep. Bathroom door needs oil! Squeaked all night with people going in and out. Check in/checkout people couldn't advise on parking info.

Good location and staff was friendly enough. But buildings and furnishings are in need of serious repair, renovation and cleaning. Shower by our room was out of service. Curtain in the shower downstairs was riddled with mold and mildew. Outside furniture too dirty to sit on. Filter on room air conditioner was covered with what had to be years of dust and dirt. Key cards consistently malfunctioned for most of our stay. Did not provide all amenities advertised. Supposedly smoking not allowed inside, but that apparently does not apply to weed.

The staff were wonderful and other residents were quiet and respectful of the space. The photos of this hostel are very misleading though. I chose this hostel due to how clean and updated it had seemed. Our stay was two nights, in the second night we went to use the communal showers and it felt like I was in a horror movie. I was expecting to use the clean and updated showers shown in their photos, instead my options were a shower stall with no light, a shower stall with no running water, or the upstairs stall that was full of spiders and caked in dark residue. We obviously were unable to shower during our trip, this is coming from someone who has stayed in hostels before and had access to these amenities with no problem. Our room claimed to have AC, there was an AC unit in our closet but our window did not open. There was a compact window near the bed that gave us ventilation but had no screen so we inevitably had bugs in our room our entire stay. I did not expect much considering this is a hostel but I had hoped it would have Atleast been clean and not misleading. I hate having to leave a negative review considering how kind and helpful the staff were, the advertising of this place vs. the reality of the state it is in is not their fault.
