Beautiful hotel, beautiful town

Beautiful, elegant hotel right on Lake Lucerne. Breathtaking views on lakeside. I was afraid that no A/C would be a problem but it cooled down very nicely at night so it was comfortable. The grounds were well kept with lots of good seating areas and water toys to use on the lake. The restaurant and service were excellent.

Lovely hotel

What a beautiful property! Set on the lakeside with beautiful gardens, everything about the hotel says peaceful and relaxing. The staff is professional and friendly and happy to do whatever possible to enhance your stay. Breakfast is excellent and made-to-order eggs are also available. The Michelin-starred dinner was good but, frankly, overpriced. Other restaurants within walking distance were the better choice.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am See. Sehr ruhig. Fast durchwegs sehr freundliches Personal. Tolle Küche. Gute Betten, Kissen dürften fester sein. Klarglas Fenster vom Bad ins Zimmer finde ich furchtbar. Wozu? Sitzt jemand auf der Toilette oder duscht, kann die andere Person vom Zimmer aus zusehen. Wenn man nachts zur Toilette muss, weckt das Licht die andere Person. Sehr undurchdacht.
