The room was a little smelly, I imagine carpet at a beach side motel is to blame, the rest of the room was clean, the little kitchenette was well stocked, and even though we only stayed one night, it would be great for a longer stay. You do have to walk down a lot of steps to get to the beach, but it's a nice beach, very walkable.

The Vern Brown addition has the best views as it sits right over the beach with views of the Wizard's Hat and Elephant Rock. It also has the main stairway from the property down to the beach. Its only disadvantage is its distance from the main office building, a 5-minute walk down the road.
