Hotel Sant ‘Anna is in a great location close to Vatican City, the metro, and many restaurants & tourist shops. We were comfortable and had space for our family of four. The hotel is nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the annoyance of having to walk past the restaurants hawkers (with their high-pressure sales pitch to lure in you and others) who on the street in front of the hotel, but that was the trade-off for convenience.

Hotel is convenient as to is very close to Vatican and other attractions. Hotel is historic structure built in the 1500s. It was refurbished appt 1970 and has all the modern features a traveler would want. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Lots of restaurants are close by. Would stay there again.

Sant Anna is in a fantastic position to explore the city. It’s small and chic. About 2 minute walk to the Vatican and a ten minute walk over the river to the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all an ideal place to stay when visiting Rome. Would be more than happy to stay there again.

We adored our short stay! The staff was so friendly and hospitable. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after check-out when our flight out of Rome got delayed, which was greatly appreciated. The room itself was clean and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was modern! The hotel itself had a lot of character and was close to the Vatican and tons of restaurants and shops. Grazie mille!

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We had a late arrival due to flight delays and they were very accomodating.. The breakfast is a simple continental breakfast however the freshly made espresso is amazing. The hotel is situated one street from the Vatican and 10 minute walk from the Castel Sant Angelo. We took the bus from the Airport to the hotel and our location was easy accessible. I highly recommend this hotel and I definitely will stay here again in a future visit to Rome.

A lovely old and serene Roman hotel

Sant'Anna is lovely. We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully presented 16th century hotel. Our room was even better than described online. It is very close to the Vatican and only a few minutes stroll from St Peter's. The hotel staff are all really professional and friendly. Marcello made us most welcome and took care of everything we asked about. We loved meeting Nina the dog who calmly dozes near reception and gracefully brings a cozy ambience to the hotel! One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in.

Very convenient to the Vatican, about 10 minutes from both the St. Peters plaza and the "rear" museum entrances. Loved the old charm quality of this boutique hotel. Included breakfast was complete & tasty. Staff was very friendly & helpful. This pedestrian street is lined with multiple restaurants, shops, and delicious gelatto next door! Taxis came right to the corner, 50 feet grom door. Really, it was perfect.
