Staff was excellent. Although there was an issue (safe wasn't working and couldn't be fixed and I accepted that) they still went out of their way to help out. Especially so the waiter which had a heavy laden of work on him due to a new system with door cards. He was sweating while running busy about in the bldg. It was also a surprisingly quiet night given that Sogo is the hub for "love couples" running on and off to rooms for shorts 24hrs. Also located directly to the train station. Else it's no thrills and really not that comfortable. Only for one night stays, or less.

Nice place and staff. Good value

Very pleasant and clean. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful with pleasant dispositions. Good value and convenient to transport in national capital region. WiFi was strong an fast. Very good selection of channels on the cable. I would definitely get a room there again.

Rooms rented by the hour

This was not a good choice! Security at the front lobby was heavily compromised by a fire extinguisher used to prop open the rear fire exit all night allowing people in and out. Room door alarms were constantly sounding and at least one hooker argued with her client in the reception area. In case you have not already guessed. This is not a family hotel. I think the fact that you can rent rooms by the hour, explains what type of hotel this is. If you wanted your room cleaning you had to ask for it to be done and then wait until completed. The quality of the food was acceptable and the service was good.

STAY AWAY!

We booked a hotel room here for a guest and had a very poor experience to say the least. The hotel staff was very undertrained and extremely ignorant about everything. We booked the room online through a reputable third party website, and were told by the hotel that our booking didn't exist in their system. Everytime we had a question over the phone, even about something simple, we had to be placed on hold so the person could check with their supervisor. They ended up charging our guest for a night for which we had already paid. Our guest had to check out of the hotel a day early, but we had already paid for the following day, and they refused to issue a refund for a night on which our guest would not even be there anymore. All in all, it was a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else. Also, Expedia was less than helpful when it comes to trying to get a refund as well. They kept claiming that they could not get through to the hotel by phone, even though whenever we called, we got through right away. In the end they said they could do nothing to issue us a refund because the hotel denied the refund request. Again, stay away from this place!
