Enjoyed our stay at Lively Inn while we were visiting friends in the area. Staff were amazing and were able to accommodate any request for us while we were there. Very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for two days and would go back again. You can tell there is renovations going on in the property but that didn’t bother us at all as everyone was amazing here.

Unwelcoming lobby. Dirty building and room. Breakfast was keurig coffee and a pack of muffins in a fridge (with only 2 left and there was 4 of us). Thankfully tim hortons was just around the corner. Trying to check out at 845am and there was no one there to help. Rang bell, waited... then called the phone number which it went to voicemail. Finally someone came out from the room behind desk which is where he had been sleeping. All in all will definitely not stay there again.

Wow what an experience this was!!

It was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in. The noise from the other rooms all heard muffled conversations all night long. Security is very lacking. Side door unlocked all night and no access to front desk. No phone in the room to contact the concierge, and no Do not disturb sign to put on the door. Got hassled by two drunks. They got the rooms mixed up. The parking outside is poorly lit up makes it feel unsafe. I will NOT be staying there again.

1st 2 rooms we looked at Where dirty and I wouldn’t let a dog stay there they finally gave me a room that wasn’t terrible but very dated and smelled like smoke. Our travelling companions had a room that was ok

I thought it was good but my germaphobe daughter had a harder time. You can tell they are starting to renovate and making it less old looking as are room was painted more modern colors and carpet were replace by laminate wood flooring. The furniture and bed comforters were old but you have to give them a chance to update one thing at a time.

This property is very dated. The room was clean but not aesthetically pleasing. The exterior side door was broken, so anyone could enter. The one restaurant in the hotel is closed but there are other places near by. Not really the best place for the price.
