I arrived early, was told my room wasn't ready and to come back 2-hours later (at official check-in time).
30 minutes later, while I was waiting in my vehicle, I noticed others walking in and seemingly being checked into the hotel (as they never came back out, or came out to get their luggage).
45 minutes later, at about 3:15 pm (local time) I went back in to check on my room and was told it was not ready and that it might be ready in 45 minutes. While others were being checked in and getting rooms.
I left, went next door to the Holiday Day Inn Express and immediately got a room.
This hotel said I couldn't cancel my reservation because I hadn't followed the proper check-in protocol --- they wouldn't check me in because my room wasn't ready! How is that MY FAULT?
