The hotel gave us a family friendly, tranquil vibe the whole time that we stayed for our three day vacation. The location was perfect if you want walkable to restaurants and convenience store. We were disappointed in the room we got. It didn't look anything like the photo online and had an odd layout with a second bathroom. There was a lot of rust on the wall where the bath was in the main bathroom that was unsightly. There is no guaranteed parking; the lot only allows ~10 cars to park and if it is full, then you have to park on the street where the parking is 2 hours from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. We were also annoyed that the windows to our room looked out to a parking spot where cars other than ours could park literally parallel with our windows. There were also no extra amenities with this inn... One of the only nice things about this place was the walking distance to downtown Carmel, but there are many options for that if that is what you are looking for.
