Location was great, close to the beach and stores & food all within walking distances. Only problem i had was finding the place because it doesn't say sweetwater anywhere. I had to go into tower 1 to check in and sweetwater was in tower 2 . Kinda confusing at first but once we checked in everything was great .

The condo was very clean and tidy. We really appreciated the full kitchen and all the equipment - silverware, plates, pans, everything was available. The property was family friendly. Great location, walkable to most local places and the beach. A lovely place to rest.

Perfect Place for a Getaway with Littles

We’ve stayed at the property before but not with Sweetwater. It was a little difficult to find the “front desk” to check in (it’s an office on the 4th level not the hotel lobby). Once we found it, the ladies were so nice and even let us check in a couple of hours early since our room was ready so our toddler could nap!! Our room was in the level of the pool/hot tub and playground so we got to go right out of the lanai and walk over. It was the perfect place for us and our toddler!! We would stay again!

Don't listen to the bad reviews - this place was just fine. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. They are understaffed so pre-vacation communication was limited, but once we got there, no issues. Good location and free parking was huge! One of the cheapest places we could find in Waikiki and I have no regrets. I'd stay there again.

Property was walkable everywhere. The manager Melissa was friendly and easy to communicate with. The unit was complete with rice cooker, Coffee maker, pots and pans. Parking was included so that saved us a lot of $. No resort fee coz it was a timeshare unit. I would stay here again!

Everything was great. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. They provided beach towels. The shower was a great temperature. The only area of improvement would be the king size bed. The mattress was old and uncomfortable on the main bed. The murphy bed mattress was very comfortable. Would definitely book again

Overall Sweetwater Waikiki was not that great. The front desk was non cooperative with our requests (no blankets, towel rod was broken) and requested us to contact our hosts. The host of the hotel room was not reachable as Expedia did not provide their details. The room itself was dirty as it had roaches in the cabinets and fridge. On the plus side, the location of the hotel was ideal as it was close to the shops and nearby beach. The area was walkable and easily accessible to the mall and restaurants. We primarily went to the apartment to sleep and shower, so it was not much of a burden in the long run.

The location was good, but there were a lot of cockroaches in the kitchen, they got in my coffee and made me sick. The room had minimal amenities. The room was old and in need of updating, the drainage was not good, the electricity in the bathroom was out. The pool had no shade so you can only stay for a short time. The jacuzzi was out of order.

Floors were mopped and drying when I arrived. When they dried up it was very sandy. Other then that issue everything else was Great. It was unpredictable when new towels and cleaning would show up. During my 5 day stay they were changed once.

No one to checkin to the room, they left instructions in envelope. No one replies back to phone calls or emails for 2 days. Maintenance service took days. Parking was free but parking pass provided after two days (I had to pay $43 each day). No room cleaning or fresh towels for entire stay. Floor was sticky. Overall bad experience

Waikiki Banyan - A Comfortable and Convenient Stay Werecently had the pleasure of staying at the Waikiki Banyan, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. We were two adults two kids under 12. The apartment I stayed in was well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, which made it easy to prepare meals. It had toaster, kettle, dishwasher, salt and pepper, large fridge and stove top. Plenty of glassware and cutlery The unit itself was very clean, with freshly painted walls that gave the space a refreshed and welcoming feel. The beds were especially comfortable. The apartment was also quite quiet, which was a pleasant surprise considering the central location. The furniture was dated but this was not important. The Waikiki Banyan was just a short walk to the beach, shopping, dining, and all the attractions of Waikiki, making it an ideal spot for anyone wanting to experience the best of the area. The only downside was the inconsistent pool rules and hotel policy regarding luggage storage. On checkout day, I was disappointed to find that the hotel side of the property doesn't offer luggage storage, which would have been really helpful since my flight was in the evening. This was a small inconvenience, but fortunately, I was able to work around it. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Waikiki Banyan for anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Waikiki.

My family and I stayed at this condo for almost 3 weeks. It was absolutely perfect for all of us. Plenty of space, clean, and access to the beach was a quick walk. Rochelle Martinho was amazing! Communication was always quick and helpful. She helped ensure my family and I had the best time. I would absolutely recommend this property. We had the most wonderful time!

Check in was like a safety meeting, you had to wait until they showed up to check you in and give you a 45 minute talk about getting into your room. No amenities. Rude, didn’t communicate well. Did not enjoy our stay. Don’t waste your money.

Sweetwater Waikiki is a good place to stay in Waikiki. I liked that they include a parking pass, otherwise it was $50 a day to park there. Amenities are pretty nonexistent- the property is undergoing renovations and will be for at least a year, so no pool or hot tub, but the parking pass made up for it. Be sure to bring your own travel toiletries because the ones they provide are not good- tiny bar soaps and tiny bottles of shampoo, no conditioner. One rather odd thing about the unit I stayed in was the floor was very slippery. There was a layer of floor cleaner residue all over the floor making walking in the unit difficult. Overall I would stay there again, it’s a great value for the location and I’m sure it will be even better when they complete renovations! Also their employee Rochelle is absolutely awesome!
