Lamb shanks? Yes please!

We landed after 8 pm due to a police drama on the Bruce Highway. Tired and hungry after a nearly 4 hour delay. The cook, a true Saint by any standards, took charge and presented us with a feed of lamb shanks, mashed potato, veggies and gravy better than any I have known. The premises are obviously old and dated but we had a good shower, a comfortable bed and a great night’s sleep.

Suitable for the budget conscious car traveller, staying 1 to 2 nights, wanting a clean, comfortable bed, clean and renovated hot shower plus a microwave and tea/coffee facilities. The room was quite big as was the bathroom and all rooms in our wing had a door opening to quite a large open space with small individual tables and chair for each room to relax at.
