Good place to stay while bird-watching in the Western Rio Grande Valley.
Room was nice, staff was friendly and helpful.
They are renovating, so there was some noise from next door, but that's a plus for future visitors.

Great Hotel
This is my second stay here and I was not disappointed. They let me check in an hour early. Breakfast includes Waffles. Lots of dining options nearby. My only complaint is the limited parking and the spaces are very narrow for all the trucks and SUVs.
