The Queen's Inn is centrally located and is convenient to theatergoers. Unlike most places, it's sometimes possible to check in early upon arrival in the city, then go to the theater. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are nice.

A good place to stay when seeing a play.
Hotel was a Classic old building, nicely renovated with cosy atmosphere and good pub adjoining. The room was clean and management friendly and attentive. Walking distance to everything in town. Nice to see these old school hotels are able to run in these modern times. Recommended.

Location, location, location. This hotel is right in the centre of town, easy walking to the theatres, restaurants and shops. It is well maintained with the owners much in evidence, clearly taking pride in the hotel. We liked the ambiance, front desk staff and the room itself. While clean when we moved in, the cleaning staff were less in evidence thereafter, probably due to the shortage of labour these days.

I was charged $249 for one nights stay. I had called the day before to say that we had to leave a day early and that I had insurance. The room was also small, uncomfortable and badly furnished. Won’t stay there again. In the past it was a good place to stay.

I liked the property. The room itself was roomy and nice if very, very dated. It also had an overpowering smell of room freshener, masking what might have been a cigarette smell. I opened the windows and left for about an hour or so and that helped to mitigate the smell. Otherwise the room worked well and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely staff there. Very convenient. I would stay here again.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is in the heart of Stratford which makes for easy walks to dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Parking is safe and onsite. The hotel is over 100 years old so we weren’t expecting modern amenities found in newer properties. That said our room was clean and functional but it is in need of a refresh; rusty shower head that doesn’t allow for adjustment a heater that likely wouldn’t work well on a really cold night. Corridor carpeting could use a good steam clean.

The Queens Inn is a lovely, historic hotel conveniently located in downtown Stratford. It’s location makes it convenient to all 3 theatres. It is a simple, straightforward and charmingly old fashion hotel. We will definitely be back!
