Elkhorn Antique Market

Great small motel in Elkhorn Wisconsin. The exterior was clean and well maintained. The rooms were updated and clean. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. It was obvious the owners take well care of this motel. I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Elkhorn.

Outside looks a bit rough, but rooms, at least my room, was very clean and cool. Cathedral cedar ceilings, has a great old Wisconsin look. New carpet and tile in bathrooms. Very comfortable. Staff very nice, English not great, had a bit of issues talking with them, but they were helpful. Would recommend and will stay again next year when I come back up here.

Very friendly staff, loved that a bar and cafe were within walking distance. The beds could be bigger and I was hoping for a mirror in the room

Stayed there overnight for a concert at Alpine Valley. Very close to venue! Finishings were dated, but room and bathroom were spotless clean! Very quiet there too. Seems to be owned by a small family. They were very nice. Would stay there again

Everything was absolutely great until bath time and then had to wash ants out of tub every time. It was the flying kind so it could just be the time of year. Other than that it was great! Location, cozy, scenery, it has it all. I would definitely recommend.

Hidden Gem

Folks, if you’re looking to head up to Lake Geneva area for a concert or to go skiing or just to get away from Chicago for a while, this is the place to stay. You can’t beat the price. It’s quiet, clean, and in a safe area, the owner and his family take great care and are extremely amiable.

We enjoyed the stay. Road construction makes it difficult to get to. I’m sure they’re struggling a bit. We like the roadside motels. The beds were not comfy… place seemed clean for the most part. We did have one big concern and addressed it with front desk. Overall, I’d say it was worth a nights rest.

Check in was fine. Just super expensive for what was offered. Bathroom clean, bed though was uncomfy unfortunately and the vending machine aaid "cold drinks". They were not cold. Good thing for the fridge, but still. Ac was nice though

I took a chance on booking this property with the recent good reviews. I was very impressed with this small motel. The staff was friendly and polite at checked in. The room and bathroom was very clean and newly remodeled. The towels were soft and the bed was comfortable. Even the mini-fridge, microwave and coffee pot looked new. The only recommendation would be that I would have liked to have a safety chain on the door.

6/10 Good

It needed updating everything. They do not have any accessible for handicapped people. It’s very old and country looks but uugghhh it’s nice place but be careful not to believe any advertisement from hotel.com related to this hotel cuz they only have two double beds no king size don’t serve any coffee bar or breakfast. Need to start thing about accessibility. Feel damp often and smell musky from damp. Window is not real glass but plastic etc.
