A Great Place in Downtown Sydney

This is a very nice hotel with a great service staff and comfortable accommodations. Check-in and -out was quick and easy. The buffet breakfast items provided were generally good and plentiful. The on-site coffee/wine bar is nice, and the wait staff is too. Many dining and drinking establishments as well as shopping and attractions are within easy walking distance of the hotel, as is the cruise terminal.

I'm glad I chose this room for my solo stay in Sydney. It was in a walkable location near transit and popular sights, and there were many good options and activities available in the vicinity. This hotel was great for a young person on their own. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Last year 2024 we stayed at the Tank Stream Hotel and we enjoyed it there so much that we booked this same hotel this year 2025. The name has changed to Rydges, but we were glad to see that it was still as nice as our previous stay. the breakfast is awesome, the room is clean and well appointed, service is great, and the location is so convenient to walk to everything we wanted to see.
