We add a room with 2 beds and a bathroom with A/C and a fan. Everything was clean and confortable. It's a great hostel! We can get water from the 5 gallons bottle and cook your food if you wish to. Otherwise, their restaurant is very good! Expect a small breakfast that changes everyday. I would definitely recommend the place.

This place is great! I meet so many awesome people. The beds are super comfortable!! Definitely the best hostel beds I've ever slept in. And, ALLEN, at the front desk, IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! So are the bartenders at the attached bar/restaurant. Fyi, you will probably like Caye Caulker way more. But the hostels are terrible on that island. So I stayed here and ferried over to Caye Caulker.

Rooms were clean and very affordable, only issue was disruptive guests coming in and out of the dorm being loud and turning lights on, I think if dorm rules were unforced it would be more pleasant. Maybe having dorms for older people would help. Staff was great and always cleaning and being helpful, the facilities were top notch! Restaurant was great, prices were affordable and staff are there to help with all your needs. Also bathrooms and common areas were very well maintained I’m hoping to stay again soon

I’d recommend bringing an eye mask if you need complete darkness because the sun does shine through the curtains and depending on when you go, that might be at 6:45am. The walls are fairly thin, so it was loud when someone slammed a door, but to be honest, I didn’t hear nearly as much as I thought I would. We rented a private room. It was clean, AC worked well, smart TV worked. We didn’t actually use it, but the rooftop pool seemed beautiful. Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and kind. They even called a taxi for us when we were leaving and helped return our golf cart. If you’re looking for a non-resort option, I’d HIGHLY recommend them.

Stayed in an 8 woman bunk room. Beds were comfortable and it was pretty quiet except for one woman who snored one night. Bathrooms were very clean, hot water, outlets. Appreciated the WhatsApp messaging that allowed us to team up to partake in day events like snorkeling and Secret Beach. Greatly benefited from the free washer and dryer. About a 7 minute walk to the Caribbean Sprinter water taxi. The attached Sandbar Bar and Grill was fabulous. Will be back!
