A great break away and a very comfortable Stay

Our visit was great. Rooms clean. Available use of pool and spa. The staff was excellent they were very helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to assist us. You could not ask for anything better at the hotel. They had it all. Will definitely be back again. Thank you staff for the friendliness and being so helpful.

After checking in, late in evening, went to room and checked it out. The bathtub was filthy, cobwebs in ceiling. The bedding was actually clean. Went to get ice from ice machine it was full of mold. Told night manager they need to put do not use sign on it and why. Woke up next morning and notice lamp shade in room was full of mold. As we left I spoke to manager again and told him about all the issues and even showed him. He didn't even offer to compensate something off my bill.

Would i come back???

Although the romm looked nice, the overwhelming smell of the room was horrible. We went to the store and bought a candle and air fresher because it was that bad. It was the smell of an old moldy room. And the smell hit us right away upon opening the door to our room. I stayed here a year ago and didn't have this problem with the smell. I will be letting the front desk know when i leave today. I only stayed one night. I will be leaving today. Todays date is August 7th 2025. Other than the room i didnt notice the smell thoughout the building. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, and the temperatures for both were perfect. The bathtub in our room was deep and since i love to take a bath sometimes that was really nice. The water pressure was good and there was enough hot water to fill it twice that evening as my daughter likes to take a bath too. We didnt run out of hot water. The room has a small fridge and microwave in it and that was nice as well.

Stinky wet sock.

The room smelled like a dirty wet sock. I put carpet powder, air freshener and damp rid and nothing helped. The hot tub was cold and the paint was coming off.

This will go down as one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. We arrived late at night. It was around 3:30 or 4 in the morning. When I got to my room, I found trash on the floor. The bathroom had pee on the toilet seat and on the floor and the sink at the vanity was dirty as well. I went to the front desk to get help and was told there was nothing they could do for me. Then the girl working the front desk handed me a bottle of Lysol and a towel so I could clean my toilet and use it. The next day, someone was supposed to come clean my room. It didn’t happen until the afternoon. Then the next day I had someone in my room first thing in the morning, waking me up because they were finally responding to the fact that my room needed to be cleaned. So not only was the communication with customers is terrible, the communication amongst the staff was also not great. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Should have stayed at the Holiday Inn

Front desk workers do not speak english very clearly. Said there was no milk for breakfast, but some appeared an hour later. Room was not adequately stocked with bathroom linens. When we asked for more towels, we were threatened with another $30 charge for an additional guest that we already paid during check-in. One worker sprayed the lobby with a deodorizer including tables, and front desk surfaces several times, presumably, to mask the musky odors that were present throughout the building. Workers were constantly talking on speakerphone which only added to the unpleasantness.
