The Inn is charming. The location in town was great for walking to shops and eateries and so many choices. We had a river view room and I loved the balcony. Breakfast is only open for two hours and though there are many choices, all the food is prepackaged rest stop varieties. There was fresh fruit only one morning of the three we stayed. Also know that you have to walk to the lobby since it is not connected to the buildings with the rooms.

Great location. Check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great. One light bulb went out while there (no problem). The refrigerator didn't have a freezer, but the temperature was so low that a canned drink froze and exploded! Those (light, refrigerator) are small matters. Love the room. Will definitely return.

stayed at Helendorf River Inn, Suites & Conference Center in Helen, Georgia for three days during the Mini Blitz Mini Cooper event, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The location in the heart of this sweet, walkable Bavarian-style town made everything easy and enjoyable. It was the perfect home base for a fun and memorable event weekend. I would happily stay again.
