Charming old hotel located in the heart of the downtown, historic district across from a beautiful city park overlooking the water and marsh land. George and Judy were very friendly, personable and helpful and a joy to meet. The hotel offers a bar and restaurant as well. The food was good and the entertainment was lively.

We loved this hotel! We loved the historical value and the ability to briefly step back in time to experience a time gone by. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. We ate at the attached restaurant and were impressed with the food. The area was beautiful and worthy of exploring. Our only regret was that we were just passing thru and didn't have time to seriously check out the area. We made a promise to ourselves that we would return specifically to enjoy the hotel and the area!
