A great little place - I recommend it …….

Right off the middle of the Medina, good location, linens, bed, shower + toilets all v clean + tidy ! Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, multilingual. Don’t let the word hostel put you off - it’s lovely - try get a room on the top floor - light , airy, courtyard open to the sky for air. The lower floor is darker , beside the entrance so maybe noisier ? And £20 ish a night is so good . I booked an extra night no hassle .

It does the job for the price you pay. If you are looking just for a quick stop in the heart of the Medina, then this will be the place for that. Keep in mind that soaps are not provided for shower, so you might want to bring your own. Other than that, this place is perfect for economic traveling.

Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter for her 18th birthday trip. Manager was excellent and helped us with good information and was very friendly. Hot water was great. Condition was older but clean and everything worked well!

James, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Good traditional hotel, friendly atmosphere and perfectly situated for all areas of the Medina with all needed facilities
Mark, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. Very sparse accommodations, but they do have more upscale arrangements. It was very basic and simple. Located near the Plaza of Riad Zitoun with many restaurants and cafe.

Rafic, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Lovely staff, awful hotel

It’s advertised as 24hr reception but the only door is padlocked shut at night. It’s a fire safety risk and false advertising. Broken shower fittings and air conditioning unit.
Jayden, 7-night trip

2/10 Poor

We only used the Raid for a few hours to store our suitcases, we would never stay in a place like this, best suited for backpackers, especially since you have to share a bathroom.
Toni, 2-night trip

Basic but Good Value Accomodation

It is important to realise that this hotel offers basic but good value accommodation right in the heart of the Medina. It is more like a hostel than a hotel so if you book knowing that you won’t be disappointed. Rooms are small, basic but perfectly adequate for what you need. I stayed here on two occasions, once in a room with a private bathroom and once in a room with shared bathroom. You cannot beat the location, right in the heart of the medina just off one of the main souk streets. The WiFi was good although be aware it may not stretch to all of the rooms. It has a nice roof terrace with good views across to the main Mosque. The staff were fantastic, really helpful, and nothing was too much hassle for them. I had already booked my trips prior to arrival but if you haven’t they will be able to help you find good trips at a good rate. At the same time as I had already booked mine they didn’t try and push tours on me at all. One improvement I would make is in relation to the private room I stayed in I would recommend they look to reseal the electric sockets into the wall as that was a bit off putting. Overall though a great budget option for people staying in Marrakech and I would definitely stay here again.
Timorhy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

You get what you pay for kinda. I travelld in winter and the room was on the ground floor, right infront of the lobby. All the noise from the lobby could be heard in the room through the late hours. The room had no heating provided and because the rooms are made of tiles, the room was basically an ice-box! I'd give the place a 7/10 but my experience was definitely a 5/10
