Good little hotel
The Imperial isn't a 5 star hotel, but its clean, the staff are friendly, its in a great location, and provides you a great base to go and see/do whatever it is you're doing in Salford or Manchester. With the train station across the road you can get into the city centre, or further out into Greater Manchester. McDonalds for breakfast. Free parking too!

The room was what you pay for. Nothing special but nothing unbearable. Staff was lovely. Would go again, as it’s so cheap . Not the cleanest but bed was freshly done and that’s all I needed for the weekend

Pretty much as expected, bit rough around the edges but clean and comfortable. Walls thin so heard noise from adjoining rooms but noise settled down before I went to sleep. Staff very friendly and welcoming and parking easy and very reasonable.

It met the needs. First room was smelly but reception changed it straight away for me. Helped me with my suitcases up. Couldn't find help in the morning when I was coming down. No lift.

The property has just been redecorated. The room was clean, comfy and well equipped. The 2 guys on the desk were lovely, friendly and helpful. My car was safe. Everything about my stay was perfect. Incredible value for money. I was working in central Manchester, which was 30 minute walk. I couldn’t have asked for more from my stay. I would definitely recommend this place, and I’d stay again.

I would say this hotel is just shy of average.
Staff very friendly and helpful. However, the smell in hotel and room was awful, I contemplated sleeping in the car.
The bathroom looked like it had been update recently and was clean. The room wasn’t as clean as you would expect. Very cheap so I suppose I got what I paid for.

Converted old pub, you could see that they have tried their best in places, Very clean room, nice bed, could not get in to the property as the reception was not manned had to wait for someone to let us in.
Paint on the carpets not a good look. vending machine not working, and the carpark was vey bad and not clear what o do or where to park. needs attention, the look of the building was not a pleasant site broken windows and shattered door. this place needs work on the outside.

It had a bed
It was doable at best.
There were several hairs on the bed and in around the room. There was mould in the bathroom. The night light didn't have a bulb. No hot water from bathroom sink. The "window" was out looking into the hotel corridor. Very dirty walls. Could also hear other customers at night from other rooms. Staff were not welcoming and I wouldn't bother trying to ask for anything.
The shower pressure was good though despite it being too hot.

Room was really spacious and super clean. For the location, pretty quiet at night as well. Great location to explore Salford or walk 1minute to Salford Crescent and head into central manchester and beyond. Staff are really helpful and made the stay easy. The room is on the cheaper end so not as many amenities as more expensive hotels, but if you just need a nice spacious room for a short stay or so you can spend more funds on your trip, this is a great option for a hotel stay.

We arrived early but they allowed us to park up so we could explore. We returned at 3 to check in to our room. On arrival the reception stunk of weed. Through the corridor there was dirty linen just left . We arrived into our room to a musky smell so opened the window which helped. The tv was not working which isn’t an issue but what was is the wire was all broken and just left hanging. The toilet was not clean. Can’t comment on the local area as we used it to sleep and shower after a concert. If I was spending a few days in Manchester I wouldn’t stay again. For a quick concert and on a budget perhaps , as long as it was cleaner

Don’t stop here. I booked the room for the Man Chester. The room was very expensive for the quality accommodation provided. The room was dirty including the walls, carpet and bathroom. The bed only had 1 pillow and when I asked if I could have another, the receptionist said they don’t have any extra bed pillows.
The worse part was a staff member knocked on the door at 10:30pm demanding to speak to us.
He stated payment was not taken through Expedia so I had to pay there and then to stay in the room.
Overall the hygiene throughout the hotel was poor and they should be paying guests to stay rather than charging them.

Upon entering slightly early I asked if the room was available and was told 'maybe' and then after a phone call it was a no.
I decided to leave and head out to Manchester centre for the night and deal with checking in later on.
Upon arriving there was a horrible guest with several children running around and accusing us of breaking into the property.
After this we got into our room to find multiple issues.
-stains in the carpet in multiple locations
-stains and holes on most walls
-musty old smell
-badly rusted shower
All of this was a surprise since the photographs of the room made it look immaculate and a pleasant stay, obviously this wasn't the case since it was a dump and a hygiene risk. I wouldn't stay here again or even put my worst enemy here.
