All B&B hotels do exactly as they say on the tin - no fuss, basic.. Clean, tidy and sparse so its ok for a stopover. A bit of a walk into town which was practically deserted, where are all the people at 6pm on a lovely sunny day? Tv with no option for anything in English so for a solo traveler, a bit dissapointing

We checked in at 0030 so reception was closed which was expected. The message from the hotel gave me a code to use to gain entry. At the hotel I was faced with a check in computer asking for my name and reservation number . After 20 minutes I could not find a reservation number it would accept We used the intercom to speak to someone and got the reservation number. Using this we ‘eventually ‘ got the door to open after about 5 attempts. The code sent by the hotel was infact the reservation number . A simple change in language could have assisted here . Without my message to the hotel prior to travelling this code would not have been sent or available - so despite not knowing this code was the reservation number - how are you supposed to find that out if you don’t know you need it till 0030 when you are tired and trying to check in. It was a poor check in process which even asked for around 2€ in payment and if we wanted breakfast etc . Can you imagine at 0030 if I want this - we just wanted to get to bed not be questioned A very poor system

We enjoyed this hotel. We used it as it was close to the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, was easy to take an Uber to it from there. The hard part was trying to get a ride back, no taxis were available but eventually Uber came through. The area is a little less tourist oriented so the people don’t really speak a lot of English, so bring your translator app, that worked well for us. Everyone was nice and we had fun with it. It’s also just down the street from the Lens Louvre. Would stay again.

OK but with a few issues

All Ok but one of the beds did not have a duvet cover on it. Not so much of a problem as the room was very hot and the fan/air conditioner... didn't. Just be aware that we were on an upper floor and there were no restrictions on opening the window and you could easily have climbed out to a 40 foot drop. If traveling with younger children that might be a concern (We were in a family room).
