Location was quite good, view onto sea attractive, room in reasonable condition, food OK, but what let things down was an absurd experience paying for a restaurant bill when checking out - they said they accepted credit cards when I asked, however they didn't seem to know how to operate the machines, in addition to it taking an age to add up the bill and add the 3% credit card charge, they then started to boot up the credit card machine rather than doing it before, they then didn't ask me if I wanted to pay in IDR or GBP - when I asked if they chose IDR they lied and stated they did, but they didn't which meant I was charged another unnecessary 3%. After showing them that the transaction was indeed made in GBP, I requested they refund the 3%, but they stated they didn't have change. They also stated maybe I should have paid in cash - pretty ironic when they didn't have change for cash either ...

Cet établissement nous à louer un scooter en très mauvais état puisque lors d’un démarrage il a accéléré tout seul (il s'agit d'un problème bien connu d’un manque d’entretien, du câble d'accélérateur ou à d’un problème de prise d'air) et nous avons chuté (plusieurs millions IDR en frais de soins et vacances gâché. Cet accident aurai pu être mortel. C’est pour cela que nous mettons une mauvaise note. Sinon, la chambre n°1 au bord et avec vue sur la mer que nous avons eu été propre et d’un bon rapport qualité prix Le petit déjeuner et en qualité et quantité médiocre.

Great retreat during COVID

During COVID this hotel we were the only guests choosing one of the two ocean facing rooms. The hotel has beautiful trees and gardens as well as a nice pool facing the sea. Instead of plastic bottles there was free flow drinking water from gallons at the bar. Restaurant was temporarily closed but nice options are in walking distance (e.g. Warung Agung).

Fabulous location right on the water and with panoramic views. Ideal place to enjoy a drink and watch the beautiful sunsets. Property could do with some upgrades and maintenance but overall experience great! The staff are super friendly and helpful - and most particularly June - made our weeks stay awesome!! tolle Lage am Meer und schöner Pool Abgelegen von der Straße, dh kein Verkehrslärm, allerdings nicht direkt in „Amed“ sondern entlang der Küste. Es gibt einige wenige Alternativen fürs Abendessen -Anlage ist laut lokaler Info mind. 10 Jahre alt, der Eigentümer wohl bekannt dafür viel zu bauen (es hat mehrere Wawa Wewes um Amed), dann aber keine Wartung / Instandhaltung durchzuführen. Das merkt man der Anlage leider an, alles (Zimmer, Anlage selber) wirkt in die Jahre gekommen. /- offenes Bad: nette Idee, da es das Klima hergibt, aber auch offen für Tiere aller Art... /- Unterkunft: wir hatten die direkt am Meer, dh tolle Aussicht, aber durch die zT offene Bauweise verstärkt sich das Meeresrauschen im inneren ( Rauschen der AC). Weiterhin lässt die offene Bauweise auch Mücken usw ins Zimmer, es gibt ein Moskitonetz. -Vorhänge, Moskitonetz und zT Bettwäsche war fleckig Alles in allem nett, aber wir würden nicht wiederkommen (was vielleicht auch an Amed selbst liegt)

Total heaven

Absolutely fabulous ,booked for 3 nights and stayed 5 .The first 2 days there were a few other guests but for the last 3 days we had the place to ourselves, so you can imagine the service we got .Coming back to Bali in next year and will definitely stay again.

Best accommodation on this section of the beach

Amazing boutique accommodation right on the beach at Bunutan. Clean, black sand rocky beach front with great snorkelling available. Great staff. Good views. No TV. Great wifi however. Comfortable rooms.

Würden wir wieder buchen

Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich unschlagbar. Direkt am Meer mit Infinity Pool. Wir woltlen eigentlich von Amed aus Tirta Gangga besuchen. Als wir aber im Hotel ankamen und die Poolanlage sahen, haben wir beschlossen, dass wir uns erstmal gar nichts außer dieser ansehen werden (nach 10 Tagen Rundreise darf man das glaube ich so machen :-)) Die Bungalows sind sehr geräumig, allerdings eher zweckmäßig ausgestattet (kein Kühlschrank oder Fernseher). Das komplett außen liegende Bad war auch mal eine ganz neue Erfahrung. Ich kann auf jeden Fall auch das Restaurant des Hotels empfehlen. Die Jungs, die dort arbeiten gehen morgens immer fischen und man bekommt den ganzen Tag über frischen Fisch im Banananblatt gegrillt etc. Sehr, sehr lecker und äußerst günstig! Wir sind einen Abend zu Fuß nach Amed gelaufen, das war schon ein Stück, aber ist nach einem faulen Tag am Pool definitiv in einer halben Stunde ca. machbar. Das Frühstück war auch gut, es gab eine kleine Karte von der man die üblichen Spiegeleier mit Toast, Omelette oder Pancakes bestellen konnte.

Belle vue mais bungalows trop vieillissant

La vue sur la mer est splendide ! La piscine est également géniale. Les bungalows manquent néanmoins d'entretien. La porte ne se fermait pas totalement, ouverture dans le toit... donc nuit avec les insectes. Les bungalows ont vraiment besoin de réparations... et sont donc bien trop chers. L'hôtel est assez excentré mais possibilité de louer des scooters.

Hotel pour relaxer.

Bon séjour pour relaxer, endroit agreable pour le snorkling, bonne portion de nourriture quoique juste correct point de vue qualité. Le wifi est pietre qualité et beaucoup de fourmis dans la toilette extérieure. Mur de la douche pas trés haut donc un certain manque d'intimité. Il y a un service de lavage mais avisez sur l'entretien des vetements. Tout passe sous le fer. Plusieurs vetements brulés. Endroit reputé pour la plongée donc pas vraiment d'autres boutiques. Les plages sont de galets.
