The Inn on the River is centrally located in Glen Rose's historic downtown, so rather than being in a hotel on the noisy Hwy 67, you get a more relaxing stay. The Inn is also a quiet oasis because its property slopes down to the Paluxy river. Its restaurant and bar are another nice feature. If you travel with a pet, then you can find a no more dog-friendly place than The Inn on the River.

Amazing staff and stay! The room was very cute and clean. The location is the best being directly on the river and walking distance to everything in town. The homemade breakfast every morning was amazing. So convenient that there is a restaurant and bar on site that makes great cocktails. Owner and staff were very accommodating to request and needs. Lovely, sweet inn and so close to downtown Glen Rose. Welcoming and friendly staff. The cool breezes under the shade trees near the water were the perfect place to sit and read or just watch the water go by. Staff was so accomodating and helpful. Rooms were large and quiet.
