A very nice, quiet place in a good location, a reasonably short walk to both Bowness and Windermere. The host, Paula, is very kind and helpful and I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! If I come back to the Lake District I'll stay there again.

Fantastic stay in Windermere! Thanks for Richard and Paula, we had an amazing time for 3 nights. Great taste breakfast provided everyday, the room is classic furnished and the location is good. With impacted introduction from Paula, we explored most of areas of Lake District. We enjoyed our holiday here and will definitely choose Kirkwood for the next time.

Lovely, relaxing break in the Lakes.

Really enjoyable 2 night stay. Room warm and comfortable. Had the option to eat breakfast in our own room or the dining room. Breakfast was exceptional, all local produce with a vegetarian option. Richard and Paula were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again ☺️
