The room felt like had just been remade and not changed. Pillows felt used and under the sofa bed mattress it looked mouldy. Minimal towels and no sanitary bags. The corridors in the hotel absolutely stunk of weed and the mattress on the bed was like sleeping on landing mats, no budge for bounce. There was no main bin in the room so had to leave our rubbish out for cleaners on side.

The room was clean and tidy but very basic. Paper cups to make tea but only one tea bag! Only one pillow each. Shower gel was promised but only one very small sachet. Shower gel bottle holder on the wall but bottles have been removed. No hairdryer. TV was very poor reception. Half channels didn't work and the others all flickered most of the time. Room heater was fine but the view from our particular room was looking at nextdoor's rubbish. Reception staff were very helpful but there is not really a reception area just a desk. Parking was included if you register your car on arrival. Oh. And the floor in the bathroom had a big hole under the vinyl flooring !!

Disappointing

Lady at reception was friendly when checking in during the early hours of the morning. However the window in the room was open and it was freezing. Trying to mask an unpleasant smell! Bathroom was not particularly clean. One shampoo sachet for 3 of us. Place is very tired and is in dire need of a bit of TLC!

Never again! Booked a night after a 2.5hr drive to get some sleep before an early morning flight. There was no sleeping to be had due to what sounded like a gymnastics session combined with the rearrangement of furniture in the room above. Apparently it was a room given to a homeless family by the council. The racket was on another level, plus the bed was like a slab of concrete so that would have been an issue in itself. The guy at reception did go and ask the people upstairs to keep the noise to a minimum, but it fell on deaf ears!

To be expected for a hotel within a lorry park. Rooms are basic, with little amenities. Staff quite helpful and friendly. Good customer service provided. For convenience to truck drivers, the rates probably need to be reduced slightly to encourage more drivers to use the property.

The motel is run down with dirty carpets and paint work bathroom fittings are breaking down, the toilet roll holder was damaged and the towel rail was detaching itself from the wall. The bath is chipped and the bathroom very dimly lit, no heat in the bathroom so it's very cold when washing up the toilet seat is loose. The living area is in need of a good clean, with dirty floors, and the double glazing has failed in the room. Cardboard cups for drinking out of and plastic cups in the bathroom. These are only a few of the problems with that one room. The only saving grace is the Reception Manager, who was a ray of light in a dismal Motel.
