Quaint Hotel. Very clean, but extremely dated. WiFi was slow, but they are in the middle of nowhere so it is to be expected. They have quit hours observed from 9p to 6a, but no one told the bachelorette party in the dining room. The hot springs they advertise are over an hour away. Overall the staff was polite.

The lodge and nearby cabins appear to be clean and well maintained. We only stayed one night and did not take advantage of the available sauna or visit the lakeside area. I picked this lodge because of travel spacing on our trip to Alaska and primarily because it was pet friendly

The location is spectacular with a large lake and beautiful mountains. The lodge was nice and the staff very helpful. In addition, it is one of the few options if you're driving south from Whitehorse to the Peace Region unless you want to do a 12 or 14 hour trip. Food choices are limited; the restaurant has only a set menu for it $80, and the a la carte menu for room service is minimal. The rooms are not terribly well equipped: there is no coffee maker, no electric kettle, no refrigerator, etc.

For the price, thought it would be a better experience. Beauitul facility and surroundings. Very clean. It was quite cool in room. No thermostat. Husband found a control at floor level to turn heat up. No flat sheet on beds, only heave comforter. No fridge or micro. Sink separate from bathroom and no place to set things while showering (not even a toilet lid). Left at 6:30am and no staff around. Had to toss room key onto desk through gated area. Think we'll stick with less expensive, more comfortable and accommodating places.

My wife and I went at the beginning of March and it was -23 and snowing, so we didn't see much. But we went for a walk to the middle of the lake and soaked in the surroundings. Sarah and Ken, at the front desk, helped us immensely for a special occasion and made our stay very memorable. Thank you!!!
