It is in a quiet location next to Aldi, and a superstore which is 30 seconds away. The rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped. It was very good value. The room can get stuffy when the window is closed. It could do with a fan, or air conditioning. The tram stop is a few minutes walk. The breakfast is basic it consists of baguettes and pastries, and a selection of drinks.

You get what you pay for, the Ritz it certainly isn’t. Basic, I had an en-suite room and that was small, certainly wouldn’t swing a cat in it. Sink had no plug, it was the design, had to leave the water running. There was a strong smell of cannabis from inside the hotel. It served a purpose.

A good stopover

This is a great place to stop when you are on the way to somewhere. Next to the motorway and Aldi and Intermarche. Ideal as it's also walkable to the centre ofLille. Staff at the hotel were friendly and rooms were exactly as I expected.

Second time of staying here. We choose this hotel because it's one of the most reasonably priced for the Braderie weekend. As such, its a relatively good price compared to elsewhere. The hotel is basic, but absolutely fine. There is a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station which is the easiest way to get into town. There is a spacious car park. Hotel is quiet. Rooms are very basic (it would be nice if they put some hooks to hang things in rooms!). All the staff were very nice. They provided towels. Rooms are probably quite hot in the height of summer as there is no aircon. Overall, we did two nights (that's as much as I would have wanted to do) and had a great time at the Braderie and the hotel was just perfect for the price.

For the price I honestly cannot fault it, obviously not gonna be a five star experience but then again they're not claiming to be. It's shared bathroom and showers with the whole floor but there are plenty of cubicles and they're all clean and individual. Staff were very friendly and patient with my terrible French. You have to bring your own towel however or pay €1.50 at reception. It's on the outskirts of town, maybe a 45 minute walk away from the centre but there's a metro station about 5 minutes away which runs till late and a lime bike dock not far from that. Don't bother with breakfast as by the time you're awake it'll probably all be gone but that's no worry as there's an Aldi 30 seconds from it.
