The location was ideal for where we needed to go and it was just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff were lovely from the moment that we got there. Rooms are dull and dated. Beds are small and creaky without a decent headboard. Movement sensor in the bathroom means light switches off every few seconds unless you move. Control switch for the electric shower was in the bedroom and dodgy. Money needs to be spent on updating everything. No problem with cleanliness and convenient location for Wilmslow. Perhaps we expected too much but the room was not refreshed after the first night and we ran ran out of tea. Staff were friendly. Car park was free and adequate. We didn't use the pub this time but on our previous visit we found the bar and staff excellent.

Lovely stay at the King William. The staff were amazing, so friendly. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a hot evening so the Manager went out and bought all the rooms fans which was a lovely touch. Would stay here again.

Fabulous location... Easy to park up . Very welcoming Manager behind the bar.. only had some chicken wings and dirty fries to snack on before we headed out as we were eating later.. But they were really tasty and would Def recommend. Will be booking again next time we fly early morning

Absolutely lovely place and excellent customer service. Really lovely touches like beautiful large soft towels and toiletries and super comfortable beds... Made to feel more than welcome and could get in the room early which helped, but if not would have held our luggage etc with no problems. Food and drinks also fabulous!! Stay it was well worth it!
