We stayed on Tuesday night so restaurant and bar were closed. For us that made it perfect because it was so peaceful and quiet during our stay. I don’t know how much noise that Pine rooms would have with restaurant open but our experience was lovely. Beautiful grounds and we enjoyed our grab n go breakfast very much. It was the peace and quiet that we didn’t realize we needed.

The place was so cool! I loved the entire vibe, I stayed in the pine lodge and was able to walk right over to the restaurant, grab some drinks and food, and head right back to my room. They also had a whole game area with a pool table and poker table. And a reading nook! I can not recommend it enough!

We enjoyed staying here for the most part. The breakfast was good, the game room was fun. The only thing that was not ideal is that the walls are paper thin. We could hear a couple next door having sex for long periods of time. I was staying with my 8 year old son so we kept having to leave the room. The water was luke warm at best. We let it run forever and that’s the warmest it got. We wouldn’t stay here again, but it was fine for a last minute ski weekend. The owners were very nice.

Room was clean, just very cold. If the bathroom was warmer we would have showered, but since only there that nite we decided not. Heater worked in the room, but in the winter it would have been nice to put the heater on a low setting at least. Bed was firm. We liked that. Floor could have used a rug. We liked the benches and view Outside our room. The bar was very nice. Employees were very friendly. Next time we will hit the bar and restaurant. We would like to stay in another building and maybe try all of them. The property was clean and well kept. It would have been nice to be able to shut out the light outside our room. Maybe thicker curtains. Just a few suggestions but we will come back.

The cabins have a great rustic feel outside but the inside of the rooms are very modern. It was a very conformable stay for the night. The drive to Tree Tops Restaurant is pretty easy so I recommend staying the night here and enjoying a drink at dinner.

It was a quaint, clean room, with a nice walk in shower, the water temp never got hot but it was warm enough for a nice shower, Comfortable bed, we had an issue with musty smell but they came and took care of it. We were disappointed the pub was closed as that was one of the reasons we stayed here but the welcome binder in the room was helpful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Foggy Mountain Lodge

A quaint, quiet and peaceful little lodge. The restaurant is awesome and was actually very busy the night i was there, with people that weren't even staying at the lodge im sure. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable even for bourbon i purchased. I highly recommend the chicken courdon blue w/o the bun type meal that i ordered.The cabin i stayed in was nice, small and basic but if you dont plan on just sitting around, its perfect. The air conditioner must have been brand new because it cranked out some cold air. Parking was plenty enough and breakfast was also enough to get you going. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at foggy mountain lodge.
