Amazing Vilanculos beach lodge

The lodge was pleasant and homely to stay in. The family suite was perfect for us with two king beds. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. The food and drinks were amazing. The lodge is located near restaurants and a few steps from the beach. We did canoeing offered for free by the lodge, massage, quad bikes, and visited two islands where we did snorkeling. Other than that, thanks to Angela and Sara made our stay so comfortable. They would take their time to guide and ensure we were comfortable. Not forgetting the servants, Lovejoy, Felipe, Sergio and others not mentioned.

A very nice hotel with lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff. The excursions are a bit expensive but worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Beach Lodge to other travelers.

The lodge is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. But above all the staff is amazing: friendly, helpful and attentive. We had an amazing holiday and will definitely come back again!

Bungalow paradise right on the water

Excellent hotel and service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the propriety was beautiful. We extended our stay twice because there was so much to do - highlight recommend

Paradise in Mozambique

Amazing lodge, right on the beach with incredible team who always strived to give first class service. Beautifully decorated cottages, all set in well manicured tropical gardens.

Enjoyed our stay

The hotel manager is amazing and friendly and so was the staff. We went to Mozambique for the horse safari and added this hotel for our last couple of days. Food was fantastic. Would recommend!

Lovely honeymoon

We came here on our honeymoon and was a lovely place to stay. It's really quiet with not much to do and not many other restaurants etc near by but the food in the hotel is lovely and there is lots of choice. As a majority good service and friendly staff. Bar does close at 9:30pm which seemed quite early. Breakfast was nice but I recommend not leaving it last minute as often things like croissants didn’t get replenished. Overall a lovely trip and a great hotel. Good choice!

Amazing place and good, kind service Just watch out when it comes to organize some day trip: ask for the exact terms and conditions (ie kind of boat used to visit the islands) because you may experience some bad surprise since the service it is outsourced from the hotel

Great Stay at Vilankulos Beach Lodge!!

Had a great stay at the Vilankulos Beach Lodge. Well run, staff are friendly and attentive. Location to the beach was amazing, pool was always blue and clean. Angela the manager was there to welcome us in person and see us off in person too. Wifi is pretty good in almost all areas. Did want a better seafood menu - prawns were average ito taste. Will definitely go back though.

Schönes Zimmer und Hotelanlage. Strand war recht dreckig und zum Baden nicht so geeignet. Essen im Hotel hat uns leider überhaupt nicht überzogen und war im Vergleich zu Hotels in der Umgebung schlecht und überteuert.

This property sits on a prime location with refreshing sea views. The pool, garden, palm trees are all well maintained for a perfect view. There are flowers all over the place to keep it natural which adds to the beauty of this place. Food was ok, we were actually spoilt for choice as they have a lot to offer. The pricing is actually average so its very much affordable. On the downside: The hotel offers little in terms of inhouse activities, which i am sure they can try to revamp. Despite the hot weather, there is no bar fridges in the rooms, no TV, no DStv, and no personal fitness facilities. The service was generally good, we were happy with everything with our recommendations below Suggestions: Adding Gym (Personal Fitness Facilities) Adding: Cable TV in the rooms Adding: Bar Fridges in the room

Great location right by the beach. Good sized very clean infinity pool, well kept grounds and facilities. Great selection of food at the restaurant ,friendly staff. Only complaint is a couple of noisy roosters on a neighboring property.

Paradise in Paradise

Staff & Service were friendly welcoming and attentive. We were greeted with a smile every day and the team did support and help us with any request. The place is indeed paradise. Big thank you to the entire team, we had a fantastic stay and will return :) Travel now before this hidden gem is overrun with tourists!

Vilanculos Beach Lodge has a most idyllic setting. The decor of the hotel & rooms are authentic & carefully thought out resulting in a relaxing & calming feel. The grounds are beautiful with attention to detail. The staff are very friendly & helpful. There are great water activities offered on site. Wonderful place.
