Great property across the street from Mercado de Bolhão. Clean and well kept, we were met by Alex who was very helpful in getting us settled and great local recommendations for sights and restaurants. Highly recommend and would stay again!

The staff was quite responsive. The flat is in a great location - literally across from the Bolhão market! We couldn't quite give it 5 stars because the kitchen wasn't stocked very well (lack of any paper products, and just one kitchen towel), the toilet ran constantly (hopefully that has been fixed by now), the sofa bed was not super comfortable and not easy to tuck away during the day. But if the measure of a good flat is whether or not one would come back, we would, we would just be aware of some of the issues.

This place has exceeded its usable lifespan and needs some serious maintenance. There was mold in the shower, mold in the main room, fixtures were held together by electrical tape, fixtures and furniture were literally falling apart. Location is great and the place was quiet but we would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those of us with allergies to mold!! Lots of better options in Porto.

This property is right across a cobblestone street (no cars allowed) from a large market, and shopping along the street. Unit is compact, but had room for what we needed, one could easily stay comfortably for a month No elevator which was fine with the exception of check-in and check-out.... they did help with lugging the luggage upstairs. This hotel was very responsive via email. Questions were answered very quickly along with helpful suggestions. I would stay here again.

I love this place. It was our second visit. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the Wifi is adequate for light use but not suitable for Zoom calls or streaming. The location is fantastic and with the road outside now a pedestrian zone, it's lovely and quiet. The double glazing was very effective. My one gripe - and it is important - urgent attention needs to be paid to weatherproofing the building. We were there during Storm Claudia and water was literally running down the walls by the window. The wallpaper hanging off the wall confirms that this isn't a new problem and I strongly urge the owners to get this sorted as it must be damaging the building quite signficantly. Also, be aware, it's nearly 70 steps to the third floor which doesn't seem a big deal when you arrive but this three-dimensionally hilly town really takes it out of you and those 70 steps can feel like 700 at the end of the day. Alex, who greeted us was absolutely brilliant.

Property manager is super excellent, helpful, honest & extremely on top of things. He keeps us updated, always there when we needed assistance. Property is directly located across Bolhao market, how cool is that? Its located centrally to all major sights that you would want to see while in Porto. Clean, spacious, appreciate the welcome coffee pods. I would go back to Porto and stay with this apartment again! Thank you very much for everything!

Amazing location, easy to find, instructions of check-in sent day ahead were clear and easy to understand. Very comfortable bed, lots of towels, lots of books and dvd to choose from (even though dvd player wasn't working and all dvd were in Portugese). Salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee and tea provided. They could improve on cosmetic side of the apartment (fresh paint to cover water damage on the walls) and more instructions could be in the apartment how to use Aircon to warm up the room . Also there is no elevator so it's not reachable for people with walking difficulties.

Highly recommend - just a few niggles

The location for this place was excellent, the lovely host was there when she said and very friendly. Communication before arrival was excellent. We had booked the loft which was on the top floor. A little bit painful at times when we forgot the low ceiling beams but we managed to avoid them by the 2nd day. The shower was a bit tight for space and the doors didn’t shut that well, but we coped for the 2 days. Loved the ceiling fan instead of air con! Kept us cool. Good to have a washing machine and a drying rack. Bed was slightly too hard but not a fault if you like your bed like that. The only negative for us was the numerous flights of stairs - it was hell climbing up every single time! We are in our 60s so this will not be an issue with young guests.

Great location for getting around. Located on a pedestrian mall, so you have to figure a way to get your bags from parking to/from across city streets. Be prepared. Alex was helpful getting us oriented. Shower almost impossible to use. Slow in getting it fixed before we checked out feeling slightly stinky.

Location is amazing. However, to get into the apartment, we weren’t able to locate the property manager due to our late arrival. We waited for 30 minutes and plenty of phone calls. During our stay, we ran out of toilet paper and we didn’t see any property manager during our entire stay after the first day of check in. Really lovely apartment though. Very functional. Will stay there again, just wish they have better communication for check ins.

Absolutely fantastic apartment, right next to the indoor market, a minutes walk from the metro station and a street away from shopping. Only a short walk down to the river, bridge and riverside restaurants and many other attractions are within walking distance. Communication from both Sofia and Alex was brilliant before and during our stay. The apartment is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Our room overlooked the market and although busy during the day, was quiet at night so had a lovely feel about it. The kitchen contains everything you need, even a washing machine and a couple of washing pods are supplied. Supermarkets are very close if you are eating in but there are many fantastic eateries all around. We especially liked the Time Out Market at São Bento railway station for choice of food. The bathroom contains a good shower, with plenty of hot water and there is shower gel and soap, as well as toilet roll supplied. Sofia met us when we arrived (early) and the room was ready and made up for us. She also supplied us with a map of the city and directed us to lots of incredible places to visit, which we did. They were also able to store luggage both before and after check in/out if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed everthing about our stay in Porto. Thank you
