We really enjoyed our stay at the Rex. The hotel is in a beautiful heritage building, but the facilities are modern and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. It's located in a quieter area, but a very short walk to all the action. We will stay here again.

Beautiful little hotel right in front of Porto's Plaza Republica, far from the heavy touristic river area, but near the Cedofeita shopping and dining area, metro stations, and the Bolhão market. Personnel at the front desk were very helpful and accommodated all of our needs. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, a great place to stay in Porto.

Quiet, modernized rooms in traditional building. Limited secure car parking under the building. About 10 minutes walk to the restaurant/business district, a bit farther to the historic district.
