It doesn't look like your 5 star Hotel from the outside but totally remodeled rooms inside! Nice & clean inside looks like some times t can be abandoned but it's not the case, everyone is out enjoying the OR Coast but the evening rolls around & there is no vacacey. Staff was great & super friendly. Definitely will stay again.

The room was clean and remodeled I will give it that. But check in was having to call to check in at normal check in time which was unexpected. The walls are way too thin and I could hear the man snoring in the room next to ours. Also a couple coming in late and proceeding to talk, I’m not sure where they were but it sounded like they were in our room talking. No sleep. Booked this room because we were getting up early to fish. Should have got up and drove in the am and slept at home!

I reserved Anchor Bay Inn for 2 nights starting August 1st. I specified in the reservation that I couldn't climb stairs and I was not accommodated with a ground floor room until the 2nd night. The stairs were steep and dangerous and the hotel was under a renovation and was a mess. There website said that they had an outdoor pool but the pool was filled with dirt and there website also stated that they supposedly had a continental breakfast but there wasn't one and I was sorely disappointed and the stairs just about killed me because I'm physically disabled. I was also terrified that my handicapped mother was going to end up falling down the stairs but she didn't. It was a horrible experience. I'm very angry that I was denied the accommodation that I asked for in my reservation. I wouldn't advise staying there. If they want people to stay there they need to hurry up and finish their renovations. When this motel or any other motel is under renovations it needs to be mentioned on their website as well as all booking websites. If I had known that they were under renovations I would have never stayed there in a million years.
