Good for a short stay

All in all, the hotel is okay. It's getting a bit long in the tooth, and I would describe the facilities as rather basic overall. Room service is only provided when required. Breakfast is okay.

A beautiful property with quaint gardens within the grounds. Room was for four of us, we had a double bed and a bunk. It was a small room but perfect for us. Bright, airy, and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was included and was a great selection of hot, fresh fruit, cereals with coffee and juices. Would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommended.

Affordable family stay

We stayed in a family room whilst travelling on a short beach break. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. There was a very good hot and cold food selection for breakfast for the whole family. We stayed over the bank holiday and the price was much more affordable than anywhere else and it’s less than a 15 min drive to the beach and 10 mins to Rye centre. Only complaint would be the power shower in our bathroom was very old and leaking a little, so temperamental when we used it. There were also cobwebs in the hallway and the place did feel a bit tired, but the kids loved the water fountain and flowers were lovely.

The property was in an easy place to find ,very near to the main road . Rooms were away. From the road noise . Breakfast was very good the sausages were very tasty , I didn’t like the toilet roll holder, not good ,but roll ok.
Christine, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was lovely but needed an update in the bathroom. There was a really nice seating area that unkempt which was ashame, but they had a larger seating area that was more accessible looking out on to the fields. Unfortunately, we waited over 1hr for our meal and there was a lack of breakfast items on our 1st morning. The staff were very friendly did their best to accommodate.

Comfortable and good location

The bedroom was spacious and clean. On the downside the bathroom was tired looking and the shower control not working so very hot water. Could not use.

Margaret, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were excellent and did a great job with a smile regardless of the fact they were short staffed. The room was ok overall, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room which is fine however mould in the grout lines was taking hold, probably due to being short staffed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. (For a third visit)
