The room was lovely; however, the shower cubicle was a bit small, so for a larger person, not much room to move. The bath towels were too small, so again, for a larger person, the towel didn't fully cover. The extractor fan was hit & miss about when it would come on, and it didn't turn off unless we shut the bathroom door, which was odd. The service from the young lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely, couldn't fault her at all. The carpet leading up to the rooms on the 2nd floor is wearing a bit thin & there are patches. Overall though, it was a nice hotel to stay in & i would stay there again.

Easy to find, parking onsite. Friendly greeting upon arrival and pleased to know that there was two options for restaurants, although, we did not end up eating there. overall lovely hotel, if I had to be picky, the room could do with a few touch ups in parts, but clean and rooms were a great size. Note to staff, could do with a coat hook on the back of the door? Just a thought, but still had hangers in the closet. I would stay again :)

Excellent hotel. Clean, friendly, helpful and very polite. One of Our windows were cracked and unable to open, but a fan was in the room which was helpful in the warm night. Bathroom had a ful length bath which was lovely after a long day, but the toilet space was a little small, if i was a larger person i may of got wedged. But clean, smelt clean and looks brand new. That's the bathroom, room and the whole hotel to be honest. Plenty of parking, continental breakfast all fresh, beautiful coffee fresh that morning. And decent Walking distance to town. Over all i look forward to my next visit. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely service.

Sorry but wont return

The food was amazing but unfortunately the room was so noisy! We were woken at midnight and the noise just kept on coming. I appreciate that this isnt the hotels fault but do not stay here if you have a family and need to be up for a sporting event the next day. We were exhausted beyond belief. Will definitely not return.

Small, comfortable, some issues

Clean and comfortable, very small room with a teeny tiny telly and one equally miniature biscuit. But everything worked, room was warm, though ceiling showed signs of age / poor decorative state. En-suite so small the sink was in the bedroom. Somewhat overly officious check-in with far too many signs and warnings - not very welcoming. Carpark is necessarily small but the layout means you could get blocked in. I had a very early start so this would have been catastrophic, though it didn't happen I was worried it would. Didn't have breakfast, which was only available in a reduced form anyway.

Need sound proofing

Generally the hotel was clean and tidy and I have no complaints about the service or food quality. That said, I was roomed on the ground floor, but the floorboards of the room above were so thin, when the resident walked about it was like a bass drum being played. Ontop of that, the drainage must fave been in a pipe just behind the wall as it sounded like a waterfall when they used the shower/flushed the toilet
