Lovely location and very peaceful, Very attentive staff nothing felt too much trouble, Parking could maybe be better and would possibly put us off visiting in the summer months when i would imagine it must be very busy. Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.

Lovely overnight stay on 11.05.25. Stayed in room 8 overlooking the river. Room comfortable, clean. and well equipped. We were there on a Sunday so the fact that the room was above the outside drinking area wasn't a problem, but might give some noise in the room from late drinkers on a Saturday or in high season. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Would absolutely stay again.

Room 12 was really nice, more of a suite than a room with a little outside space for two overlooking the many people and the hand water ferry. Food was good if huge. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and delicious. Well done. Peter.
